I think improv over the pattern defeats the purpose of the piece. The repeated pattern is the whole point, like a bewitching incantation. So it appears to repeat more than it actually does, because of that rhythmic pattern you might not notice all the variations and parts to it.

this is not accurate. The left hand arpeggios the C# G# C# from the first moment. Then LH arp F# C# F#, then A E A., then back to C# G# C#. You touch on it at the end but you say it's improvisation. It's not improv - It's how Thom plays it.

Why are you playing the left hand like that? It's clear from the first second listening to the song that the left hand isn't held chords like this.

One suggestion. If you could figure out some graphics to quickly display the keyboard with finger dots in a bright color for the chords or triads. I have to repeatedly positive video to focus on exactly where your fingers are. Or at least put the notes up on the screen. It would make it much quicker to track along with you. Otherwise brilliant. Especially your embellishment on the original composition at the beginning. That was just downright terrifying

Petition to rename Thom Yorke as Tom Yorke so no one mispronounces his name
“Tom” and this isn’t how it’s played. Left hand isn’t playing chords, it’s supposed to arpeggiate and harmonize with the right hand notes.
