    Hola, is the 'o' in the end of word always pronounced like 'u'? for example lindo -> lindu
    also what about 'banana", is it pronounced like 'banana' or 'bananə'?
    thank you so much for your videos, they are really helpful

    • @aboutbrazil
      @aboutbrazil  Pƙed 4 lety +1

      Oi, Bung! Most of time the O in the end of a word is pronounced like U, there are some regional differences. Banana is pronounced like "banana" or "bĂŁnĂŁna", in fact, the last one is more common.

    Is the oral vowel that's exclusive to Portugal the same as the i in bit? btw the nasal e sounds more like pain than spend to me

    • @aboutbrazil
      @aboutbrazil  Pƙed 5 lety

      I don't know much how the vowels are pronounced in Portugal, but the Brazilian "i" would be more like "be", "see" or "heat". Examples in Brazilian Portuguese: Igreja, Ilha, aquI.
