- The bus station is above the airport, called" Aung Mingala" the main bus central in Yangon that takes you to anywhere in the country. There are a few bus companies that travel to Mandalay and Bagan, one of them is called" JJ Express "
Hi folks, NatNomad here. An ex-Buddhist monk from Laos with a big dream of seeing the world. Throughout my time for over 10 years being a monk I kept asking myself this one question "What life is like out there beyond the monastery?" And because of this question alone made me take a big step in 2014 when I finally say goodbye to my wonderful monastic life.
And now I'm doing what I've always wanted to do. Though I am not quite sure if I can say that I'm living my dream but you know what I'm loving my new adventure.
Please make sure to stick with me so we can explore new exotic places together.
Let the adventures begin!
Thanks so much for your support.
Hope you rested well! Can't wait to see what Bagan has to offer! Thanks again for sharing your journey!
Thanks, I had a very good nap after. Stay tune. the video is coming soonđđ

Jay Zu ba for watching my videos đ¤đ
The legendary Bagan 𼰠It intrigues me how this curfew in place really has affected everything! Even supposed overnight buses. Canât wait, Nat! Enjoy!
I really enjoyed Bagan. You will love it here, bro
Enjoying your videos,
can imagine how tired you were after the bus ride
Thanks a lot for watching my adventures
Huge bus station. I would have gotten lost in there. đđđ. That thing about the curfewâŚđ˘đ˘. Safe travels, man!
If you can, even while we wait for beautiful Myanmar to open to the world again, stay in Old Bagan, its MUCH closer to the pagodas etc
I enjoy the old Bagan. Loved my cycling through the field full of Pagodas.
Sleep well. Take care. Certainly under the present regime things are not straightforward. Nice bus. I do enjoy your videos.
Thank you. I rested so well after the tripđđ
I also want to visit Bagan đĽşđĽşđĽş
Totally recommend it
I think you need to start adding subtitles it would be helpful as the audio is not clear buddy
I used to do it, but it takes hrs and hrs
It used to be around 1000
Did you record the Inle traveling ?Didn't you?
Yes, I did. A wonderful trip on the boat. Stay tune.
@@natnomad Thank you!I'm waiting.
Hi! So the bus station is far from the city? What is the best way to get there?
Yes, very far from the city. The best way to get there is by taxi. You can book it using Uber, you expect to pay 25,000 Kyats one way.
Taxi..
Amazing you did this. What a NIGHTMARE for non-Burmese speaking. It is not luxury
I know, I was so lucky to have friends dropping me off. And helped me with the ticket. I hope this video helps other tourists like me.
@@natnomad Catching up on your experiences. Really truthful. It is so sad everyone is ripping off travellers like you but money is so tight there.
Whatâs the mistake?
That I didn't book my ticket in advance. I just showed up there, and there was no ticket available with the company that I found online. So, with the help of my local friends who took me around and asked, we finally got the last ticket available. Imagine if I was there by myself.

$8000 for a tea đľ hell na
The actual price was 800 but the gentleman was mistakenly said 8000 instead of 800 hehe
You are going to pay 8000 mmk for a cup of tea while knowing the price is not right. Are you a pushover? . Luckily the waiter is not a scam.
I'm sure you're going to be cheated on next videos.
Haha, I thought it was a special coffee. That's why I love Myanmar so much because people are so nice and honest
