When I was growing up in the 50's & 60's we called this kind of book a "scrapbook" ; it's where I saved movie star autographs, dried prom flowers and old boyfriend's letters, but nowadays scrapbooking seems to mean something more professional or done digitally. Now I see that the "back-in-the-day scrapbook" is the same as a junk journal. It took me a while to understand what a junk journal is, but after you sharing yours---I get it. A junk journal is a scrapbook--re-named.
I am one who didn't know what a journal was all about and what to do with it. I thank you so much for what you do and I am going to give it a try. Its never too late to try something new. I'm 70 in June. I'll keep watching all your videos. Bless you.

I’m not a huge fan of junk journals (I just don’t know how to use them), but I have watched pretty much all of your videos and my mind is a slowly changing. I made a scrapbook journal based on some of your tutorials and it turned out great! Thanks for the inspiration
I agree with you, before Natasha I was reluctant to keep any sort or journal but she inspires one to become individual through journaling.
I’m not a journaling person, but I do the junk journal as it is a great place to keep all those mementos that wind up cluttering drawers. After a while you figure out what you like and what you don’t. It is a very personal item that doesn’t have to cost you a lot.

I love all your journals, I like to journal with memories also. I love the story of the 2 babies in the womb, I have repeated it often when people are questioning me about after death and why I believe there is more especially since my son was killed by a distracted driver. It just deepens my belief that of course there is something more to come. Thank you for sharing always.
I see all these interesting blank journals and wonder what to do with them. I guess I struggle because I'm not a writer BUT these video brings the idea to me in a way that I can utilize this type of journal. I finally get it! Thank you so much for sharing your personalized junk journal.

I love this...very inspiring. Ive been burned out the past few months....this sort of journal is what i need to make. Positive quotes, thankfulness, reminders that there is goodness in my life. How sweet your personal journal is! I have one that I did with a Hollie Hobby theme. I use it to write down memories, quotes, etc. I've never thought about putting keepsakes in it. And I have plenty of them just stuck in a drawer. Thank you for the abundance of inspiration! And thanks for putting your personal ideas and creativity out there for all of us to see! The fact that you miss and think about your sweet dog lets me know that you MUST be an amazing person! I too miss my sweet dog, she was a golden retriever and I miss her everyday!
I loved seeing how you have used your journal, so many ask what should I do with it and this is the perfect video to give them lots of ideas. I like to collect quotes too. I am so happy to see so much positivity in your collection, even during these especially hard times this year.I just hugged my Mom for the first time since covid started just last night, she is 85 . I am lucky enough to live where the risk is much lower than other places. My youngest daughter lives in Ontario and they have had such a spike in cases so back to lock downs again . Hi Natasa, Wow! how fun that was watching and listening. What a great and special keepsake, Treasure-Book. I cried when you got to the page about your dog. I am a dog lover. My last dog "KODA" (meaning "friend" in Lakota Sioux dialect; died 9 yrs.ago. I think of him all the time. I have his leash hanging on my apt. doorknob.It was also used for 3 other German Shep. Your loss more recent, so sorry. Just a super great, so personal; Treasure Book. Loved watching. Thanks.
Thank you so much Eileen. The dog leash gave me a lot of comfort when my dog passed away. Dogs are such beautiful, loyal companions, and they love us unconditionally. Its so hard having to say goodbye :(

A couple of years ago, I made "gratitude jars" for myself and my grown children, to be filled with little notes of purposeful thankfulness. First note, 01 January. Last note 31 December. Then, the jar is emptied and notes are read on New Year's Eve. The next day, the process begins again! After watching your journal videos, I thought such a personal journal to be the PERFECT way to keep and review the year's blessings AFTER emptying the gratitude jar! (A box or bag full of handwritten notes would likely not be opened and enjoyed, again and again.) THANK YOU for inspiring me to extend my "jar" idea to even MORE special memory making!

I started watching u few months ago and since then I’ve become creative I created a think and create journal everything I created I place in that journal like flowers cards etc and everyday I go in and add a little here and there it’s getting really full now thanks for inspiring me ❤️❤️❤️

My first junk journal is so big that I will have to take it apart and make separate journals. Love your pen with the diamond on top. I saw Juni use one and I bought a whole set of them. I have been giving them to extra special friends. Love what you create❤
This journals could also probably make 3 separate journals :) Where did you find your pens with the diamond on top? I got mine in Kmart, but two are already empty and I have two left, and don't want to use them much :(

I'm trying to merge journaling and scrapbook moments together to give a more personal and meaning experience for my kids and grandkids.
