    What's your opinion about phase shifting when you do this hard 96db low cut on all your bass tracks ? Nice videos!

    why didnt you incorporate both the lower kick sub and the synth bassline ? seems like they would work together. running on different frequency range. Normally I like to use the analog rytm BT for something like that kick sub bass you made that sits around 50hz, and I usually combine it with another "bass" synth that sits more on the 80 - 150hz range.

      I used to do that as well, but could never mix that well. Just too much going on in the low end. My ears quickly adopted to that big low end and I thought it sounded great. It didn't, my brain just fooled me..😅

    I suggest to not use any hp filter close to the fundamental of the sound like you did. It really mess the sound making phase issues. Looking at the spectrum it's clear that it doesn't need any filtering at all because there's noting below the fundamental. Better use a slight shelf or bell, trust me.
