Alright here's your difficulty spike...If you don't know what you're doing. Just as important as it was in stage 3 you really need to know what's coming at you to make your life so much easier. As is almost all of the enemies shoot bullets directly at you so plan to do slow streaming every time you turn around.
Momiji isn't too awful bad but there's a few things that can trip you up with her most importantly being the fact that the previous enemies' bullets don't disappear when her fight starts and they can REALLY screw you up if you're in a bad position.
Aya is a pain, this time she's not fighting you as a reporter she's fighting you as a tengu. That means she doesn't use a few high speed attacks rather all her moves are high density small bullets. When dealing with Aya you need to find quick escapes in rapidly shifting mazes of bullets.

As someone not into bullet hells: This is considered one of the easiest of the series?
it's actually interesting, you say that Aya's the first non-extra stage boss to pull a time-out card, and in theory that's true. However, Aya is stage 7 in pofv, and stage 7 is effectively extra-stage quality. She did after all in the dialogue say she'd go easy on you. And it shows in the lunatic variant of this fight what she'd be capable of.
thanks for this upload, i get tripped up alot by aya and the toll of second-guessing and not bombing and losing a life sucks. great to see someone do this with marisa b who im using for this game. her tree leaves spellcard is annoying. great work
