There is a reason why we’ll always remember Milton, he was undeniably an exceptional horse. I’ll never forget John W at HOYS mucking up the distance into a double/triple, can’t remember if he took off too early or too late but before he landed that first jump John knew he’d botched it and LITERALLY let go of the reins so Milton could take over. It was poetry in motion watching that amazing horse prick his ears forward and jump the combination perfectly just because he loved what he was doing.x
He looks like a pony just plodding along - happy as can be - it’s just so fun watching him - his charisma was a big part of why he was so loved IMO - and then there’s his athleticism - incredible horse
