Just stumbled across your channel Francis and really enjoying all the videos i've watched so far. I've just purchased a mavic air so finding the vlogs very informative and hoping to try out epidemic for my future vlogs. Keep up the great work.
Wow what a coincidence. I had that appear just today too and it remained on most if not all through my flight. I was still able to fly and take footage. I plan on searching to see if just a caution and what triggers it (i.e. winds exceeding X MPH, etc.).

Keeping it positive....I like that. Yeah, that's almost an impossible shot to get (ie jumping in kayak and launching the Mavic). Quote for next time; *'Positive Actions combined with Positive thinking will result in Sucess'* .
The more serious red wind message is scary, isn't it? I got it a couple of times on my Spark on the west coast of Ireland a couple of weeks ago. I've never seen it here in California.
I am guessing you fly a lot over water . I fly a lot over water and found this little gadget called a (Getterback) that attaches to the rear arm of my Mavic Pro . If the drone goes in the water a small bright yellow float pops off on a 100 foot line and goes to the top and you can find and retrieve your drone , and with DJI Care Plus get it fixed or replaced . Worth a look .

Nice to see you back at it Francis! I just uploaded a short video from the only part of big trip to Australia I could fly my Mavic Air. All those preparations and plans for the epic 2 week bucket list trip went out the window quickly as I didn't feel well and actually suffered a heart attack in Sydney on the 3rd day. On the 4th day a surgeon in Brisbane put a stent in me. One night in the hospital and I was back at it. The drone footage came on a "day of rest". I hope you enjoy it. Glad your OK as luck would have it , my hart attack was hard for me to recover from but that being said its what got me into drones . Had to stop SCUBA so I sold most of my gear and bought drone stuff . Funny the things that change your life for the better , drones has turned out to be one of the most fun hobbies I have ever had . Wish you the best with your hart , and drones .

It's a pretty crazy story. When one puts "visiting a foreign country" on a bucket list. One should really specify "making it home" too. I hope you enjoy the footage. I have more I'll include in the full trip video. I'm trying to upgrade my home computer to handle the tons of 4K footage I now have. lol
