So, let's look at 9 Things You Need To Know Before Buying The 2024 Kia Sportage Plug-in Hybrid. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
The PHEV in XLINE Prestige is a legit luxury SUV. I'm about to pull the trigger on one. The inventory in So Cal is pretty robust so I'm hoping to get a good deal.
I just looked at one today and I fell in love. It's especially amazing in the shadow matte grey. If I can negotiate the price a bit I'm definitely getting it.
@@bobbygilmore2076 I bought mine three weeks ago and couldn't be happier. The matte looks good but understand it requires special care. I didn't want the hassle. What worked for me was I got an "out the door price" on a loaded RAV4 (not PRIME) at $48k. I walked in and said match this and I buy today. They matched and I ended up at about $1800 under MSRP and $7000 off their stupid sticker price.
Can you get a carpool sticker with this car in California?
@@almaartiaga3301 yep. It qualifies.
Color is limited to trim package and it is not a plethora of colors. Only about 6 choices and and all 6 are not available in all trims. Which sucks!
Grocery hall??
Grocery haul
Can the car run on pure EV when turning on the heat or AC?
Other reviews say no, it lacks a heat pump system like the Rav4 so heat is generated by the gas engine
Definitely not, it needs the heat production ofthe gas engine.
I have one here in Chicago and that really sucks.
I live in extreme climate area. So heat and AC is a must. Should we just consider the regular Hybrid instead of the much more expensive PHEV if there is no way it is run on pure EV??
@@eddiesum6813AC is still electrically powered, but the heat needs the engine running. You'll still be using only a fraction of normal fuel consumption.
That’s better, at least I can save some fuel in summer
KiA should update the battery capacity , 18kWh at least .
Should put in heat pump like RAV4 prime
In Canada it’s up to 2 year wait
That's crazy! I'm in New Mexico, United States, and inordered my Sportage PHEV 5 months ago. At the time I was told a 5-8 month delivery time. I spoke to the dealership a few weeks ago and they said the factory had confirmed my order and was starting the build soon. I was told that meant about 2 more months of waiting. Now I'm worried they are blowing smoke up my a$$. Lol!
@@mrq1701 and typically in Canada we get few choices of interior colour - usually grey or black.😑
