I went to MAGIC in New York and Vegas and the apparel market in Atlanta where I was in there fashion week last October with 13 of my own garments I modeled 3 of 13 myself!

I have been watching a bunch of Alli's videos! Alli, you have really given me a lot of help and ideas. I have always wanted a clothing store since I was 16 years old. I am 51 now and have spent many years thinking about it. I have been raising my two kids, who are teenagers now and haven't had time. I am seriously considering opening an online online store as a way to begin my business and still have time to care for my family. Better late than never to take the plunge!
Sweetie, from one name twin to another, don't consider it; do it. Go after the life you want ! List what you need, strategise and go achieve your goal of launching your clothes store. You can do it, even now. You've got this! 😊

I went to Magic one year with the company I work for. Our bosses made my team go through every isle to make sure we didn't miss anything. I had never been to a trade show before so I didn't know what to expect! It's crazy! It's had lasting affects on me too, I can't go into places with a lot of clutter or booths without getting dizzy now lol

Hey! You said you made orders to stock enough through the summer. How often do you normally order items? And how far in between orders will vendors let you order? If you order a dress 2-2-2, do you order another 2-2-2 when you’re sold out of smalls? If other sizes aren’t selling do you still order that item?

Great video! Your blogs are always inspiring! I have a couple questions I hope you can answer😊 when you first started out (your online store)you mentioned having only a few items do you recommend starting with one item for example just dresses or just jeans and then as you grow add more items or a little of everything (I am starting an online home decor/ home goods boutique with little funds and I’m not sure if I should stick with one type of item at first to keep it simple)? Also you have shouted out a couple shows you recommend for other clothing boutique owners obviously but do you happen to know of any great trade shows in the home decor/ personalized goods category? Leticia Martinez no they don’t but there is a trade show for almost every industry. Try looking into medical trade shows. I’m sure you would be able to find them there!

When you order do some vendors charge shipping and some not? do they tell you shipping prices up front or after you put things in the "cart" to order?
Hello there! I'm a new subscriber and actually in the process of launching my own children's boutique. Are the trade shows you attend only adult/ladies apparel? Do they have trade shows for childrens apparel? I eventually will get into ladies apparel but children's is where my heart is.

Always us a P.O. Box for safety reasons and it adds a professional touch.
Avaline Morris I used my home address out of convenience in the very beginning. Once I grew a little bit I got super nervous about using my home address and moved onto a PO Box. 💕

elizabeth_padron LoL... yes... but she has to by it per pack. So the wholesale price per item is $14.50 & she must by a pack of 6 (2s, 2m &2l) for $87.... she can’t just by per individual item.... you have to buy the whole pack. Some packs come 1/1/1 & some 3/2/1... but mostly 2/2/2
