Legit when I was in 5th grade, I had a teacher who was OBSESSED with Lumpia. We had like 5 Filipino kids in class. Every year, her class would always have an end-of-the-year picnic and she was sooooo sad that none of us brought Lumpia. Still feel bad to this day haha

    Speaking of vinegar…
The natural vinegar that comes from coconut and or the sugar cane is the best. It serves as a dipping sauce or condiments. The natural the better. Coconut vinegar is being fermented for a few days or so then its good to go. Lumpia also tastes good for me when i dip it in vinegar with garlic and onions. Try it sometime

Definitely try the tocino! Im Filipino and my favorite food is Kare Kare - it’s hot oxtail and peanut sauce with veggies! There’s a paste/sauce called Bagoong that it tastes great with. I even eat it with baby mangoes like just dip it in there. Sinigang and Dinuguan are I think foods that can shock the tastebud if you haven’t had it before - my friends don’t like them but I grew up with it so it’s really good to me lol.
