  • Madilu's biggest hit on which Franco played. In fact, there were only two, the other was Boma Ngai, Ngai Na Boma Yo To Bomana.
So I am not not talking about Franco's compositions on which Madilu did some singing, such as Mario, Non!, Tu Vois? (aka Mamou), Makambo Ezali Bourreau, but I am talking about songs composed by Madilu on which Franco played the guitar. Those were only two. In ten years.
Vocals: (fltr) Denis Bonyeme, Aimé Kiwakana, Malage de Lugendo and Madilu.
Get the studio version (the whole album in fact) here:

I cannot understand how these people composed this song. I mean how can three people sing a song with different sections and yet get it perfectly. It's just genius.

The song was written by Madilu system, he wrote only two "Ban Gai , he would go on to have a very success full career after passed". He was 55 years of heart attack in Kinshasa. Franco bands have always had four vocalists plus him

The only reason most of us Kenyans enjoy this song, unlike the Congolese is coz we don't understand a word they sing. We enjoying the tune, rhythm, emotion and passion.
Learning the meaning of the lyrics takes that away, hence you don't find many congolese here.

wale sijui bundles zao wanafanyianga nini... Bro nilijifunza lingala and these songs became twice wonderful, very relatable and nostalgic. Its 4 am and am here listening to this live version though i know it off-head plus like other 100 tpok songs. so learning lingala makes these songs like ten times wonderful.

It is one of their best indeed, just look at the stage organisation: The vocalists, the percussionists, and those on the guitars, That drummer at his own stage, and there comes the freeze by the dancers, actually every thing points to organisation typical of TPOK Jazz!!!!!!
