Slow to half speed works well. Why not set this as the normal speed? Also, video states to set the posts 3.0-3.5m apart while the written instructions suggest 3.4-3.8m apart. Which is correct?

That's great, it helped. Gap between 2 posts can be 3.0m - 3.8m, depending on the site or any obstacle, 3.4-3.6 is the perfect gap. Thanks

Yes, by cutting the post on higher side. Higher side posts will be smaller than the lower side, according to the slop. Thanks
