    Ok. I found it ironic that in the Castle programme, the person who developed it is an A. Gardiner - which is my name - I am an A. Gardiner

      Ah I remember the series but not the games. I had paper workbooks. I need to find these now.

    Definitely remember the Fun School series, including the early ones for BBC Micro, but I don't think I remember any of these activities/games. Seeing "Fred's Words" is bringing back a memory of seeing the word "fad" with no context and asking my parents if it was a real word and what it meant, so that may have been where it came from.
