@mohamadnbadr. First of all, thank you very much for the comment!!! I derive great satisfaction from elucidating the intricate processes and materials involved in my work.
Commencing the procedure, I initiate by applying an initial layer of wax, followed by the application of a subsequent layer once the first has fully cured. Upon the comprehensive drying of the second wax layer, I proceed to administer polyvinyl alcohol in two delicate layers. Up to this stage, our application has been limited to release materials designed to facilitate the non-adhesive extraction of the component from the mold.
While the utilization of polyvinyl alcohol is not obligatory, I consistently incorporate it for several reasons, some of which I consider paramount. Firstly, it establishes a protective film that prevents the adherence of excess wax, ensuring the final piece maintains a lustrous appearance. Additionally, its water solubility serves as an effective mechanism for part demolding in instances where it proves challenging.
After the PVA dried, I applied a layer of gelcoat, which has the role of protecting the resin and fiberglass from UV radiation and other environmental factors. Then I started the actual lamination by applying the first layer of chopped glass fiber (CSM) which is a fleece of only 10 grams per square meter and its main role is to fill all the shapes of the mold being very easy to model in combination with polyester resin . I added the structural layer, consisting of CSM of 450 grams per square meter and waited for the reaction to be complete by measuring the temperature. As matrix I used polyester resin with 2% catalyst ratio. When the part reached the temperature of the ambient environment, I released it from the mold. How did you make the mold

@808lukas1. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! In this video, I show how I made the mold using the old piece. Basically, I took the old wing from the trailer and made a mold on it, so that the final piece would be poured into it. I don't know if I really understood your question. but if you have other questions, don't hesitate to write to me. If you have found the information provided beneficial, I encourage you to consider subscribing to the channel if you haven't done so already. Your support serves as a significant motivation for me to continue creating and sharing valuable content through future videos. Thank you mery much!
