Army Vet* I got out in a 2018 as well. I saw something shifting in the military too. Glad I did. I was attached as cadre for a specialty school and did not feel like I was being used to my fullest. Glad I did.
You gotta do what's best for you!
This guy is so un assuming. Remember this next time your road raging. You never know if that bespectacled guy wifh a guitar in the back seat is a delta operator. What a great role model.Great interview !

Super humble guy. I appreciate him taking the time to talk and I appreciate the comment!
Brad looks way young for having spent that many decades in Batt, RRD, and The Unit. He looks like he could get a high and tight and jump back into a Rifle Squad in Battalion.
Lol, for sure. Thanks for checking out the show 🤘🏼
1:53:30 ish is what I say when asked how many I killed in Afghanistan. I say idk 0 there hundreds of meters away in the mountains hill sides your lucky to see the muzzle flash lucky 🍀 . I’m just a 11 b nothing special and I had close quarter contact and I have 3 other guys behind me or in front of me and were all firing at whatever threat there is so who knows right I’m here so I did something right
Reality is definitely different than what people assume based on their impressions from Hollywood. Glad you made it out 🤘🏼

It's never too late to pick up an instrument.

Just be thankful you didn’t go Army aviation, absolutely worst decision I ever made. Piss poor leadership and they absolutely hated you if you wanted to go try something different.
That's wild to hear. A lot of Marines look at Army aviation as a good option
