I love the simple and retro look. I have a pair. These were also my first ever pair of branded shoes, I was the coolest kid in my class. What nobody seems to mention is when you first put them on the sole is shaped in an odd way, u end up wondering if the correct shoe is on the correct foot! Kinda cool.
I've got the red and off white color Tailwinds and I enjoy the attention I receive on the account of the distinctive multi-faceted appeal the shoe showcases
I have 2 pair and love them. The only thing I have to say is that if you don’t have wide feet then you should go a half size down since they don’t have much padding like other shoes.
Thanks for the video man, just copped it and it was only 50$ on the official Nike store here in Brazil, they are sleeping on it since all sizes were available
@@bagmoves5189 I can’t answer for wide feet but for length I’d go half size down. I normally wear a 9 but a 9 in these were too long for me since the shoe doesn’t have much padding.
Facts thats why i think they look nice i probs wouldnt wear it to school becuase these idiots will think their lame but outside of school adults will know how ill these shoes are
Good question. I wouldn’t hesitate to wear them all day long. They may not be as comfortable as newer techs, but these were once performance shoes. I was actually surprised at the bounce these had
Nice video 👍 | Would you suggest these for working out? For weight training / jump rope .. these strike me as good boxing workout shoes for some reason ..
hmm tough to say. i don't think they're anything special, so basic gym tasks/workouts - these would be fine. once you get more into the specialized exercises i'd defer to looking into more specific sneakers.
yo is it durable? i just saw nike website and the reviews on tailwind 79 sucks because majority of them said that the heel have a issue and the shoe won't last for more than a month because the heel starts separating from the shoe
I'm always between a 9.5 and 10 in New Balance and Nike. Always depends for me, haha. I'll say that I could've gone in a 9.5 on these Tailwinds and have been fine - I feel there is a little room on this size 10. Hope this helps!
I've always like these retro Nike shoes. These modern Nike airmax and running shoes look like freaking moon shoes.
Agreed! I can’t get down with these recent release Nike runners haha
Agreed man
i realize it is kind of randomly asking but do anybody know a good website to stream newly released movies online?
@Eric Scott lately I have been using Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)

Just cop it 🔥 underrated
Hazero still available?
Crazy how these are still fire after 43 years
just got the Navy, just so simple clean and classic.

Well said!
Bought a pair of '79 in grey and blue, after using them two weeks in the gym the missile started to crack. So much for quality.
I ran these in marathons and they showed no signs of wear it is probably a manufacturing error

Anderson Padilha ta bao msm
I like the simple look.
Just copped a pair for £50, cannot wait to get my hands on them. got a half size up cus i have wide feet so hopefully they'll fit nicely
Was it better going half size up?
@@DAWNRAlD ya was it better ?

8.5 but I have wide feet and going tts it’s tight in the forefoot and toe
Nike cortez and Nike tailwind🎉🎉🎉
I have three pair of tailwinds and two pair of daybreaks, Love them!
Nice! Great shoes ✊
i bought them but the tounge is black i mean the nylons
ngl they look almost like the nike sacai but cheaper :)

@@bagmoves5189 wear what you want bro and grow into your own style
I get a cross between AirMaxx and Cortez! I fuckz wit em Blk&White 1z go go!
Mine are coming tomorrow 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Nice shoe! I have blue and red pair, great vid! You should get Day breaks too with orange stripe
Can’t find this colour way anywhere 😩 only find the nylon with the black tongue! Sick video man!
A Classic style with the first air unit built in...
Between these and the Nike Challenger OGs which one is wider?
The less aggressive Undercover Daybreak
what a chill fkn video
Nice vid man keep up tha good work
Bout to cop 2 pairs now..... Dope 🔥
nice!
My favorite nikes
Love these
WE LOVE NIKE!!!!!
Wish it was black laces
Only thing I’m skeptical about with the retro runners is the comfort, how was it over long durations of time?
Good question. I wouldn’t hesitate to wear them all day long. They may not be as comfortable as newer techs, but these were once performance shoes. I was actually surprised at the bounce these had
Comfort's great
Looks dope

Greetings, will those fit for fall, or is it better to go for a warmer model?
How do they compare with the OG challenger and the daybreak?
I wanna know too!
Nice but too slippery.
yo is it durable? i just saw nike website and the reviews on tailwind 79 sucks because majority of them said that the heel have a issue and the shoe won't last for more than a month because the heel starts separating from the shoe
My pair held up well, I guess it just depends on how you wear them
Do they slip easily?
Is it lightweight?
Are these shoes cut small should I go up a half size or bit my true size
They’re somewhat narrow, so if you have wide feet I’d probably go .5 up. Otherwise TTS seems to be about right
Is this tts?
I'd say so yeah, TTS.
Better these or blazers?
Tough call! Can't go wrong with either
Are they good running shoes
Jesus, honestly I know you can run in anything. However for the average person, I would probably use these as just casual sneakers
Yo.. what size are you in New Balance? Are you .5 size up in your Nike size?
I'm always between a 9.5 and 10 in New Balance and Nike. Always depends for me, haha. I'll say that I could've gone in a 9.5 on these Tailwinds and have been fine - I feel there is a little room on this size 10. Hope this helps!
What's the meaning of TTS?
Tj Suspine true to size!
@@StuffDylanLikes Ohh, I tried to fit it my feet size is 9 and I tried 9 also, it was comfortable enough
These or the new balance 574?
Hmm tough call. I’d probably side with the 574
@@StuffDylanLikes okay thanks for the suggestion
Do these shoes give you height ?
Not a whole lot, no different from most other sneakers
