That 2nd last battle did the opponent lag? They had the energy for a move but somehow got farmed down... That's so strange.
@@Hertacles I too was wondering the same while battling….but they were not lagging as they were clearly getting fast moves off….don’t why they didn’t throw the charge move though as they had energy for almost 2 avalanches.

I got a shiny shadow bellsprout, which I evolved to victreebell. Horrible IVs but come on. Beats half the meta and an awesome flex. Didn't even add a second move. Just running frustration as relying on fast move pressure alone has worked for me. Then got my first galarian zapdos a few days ago. Catch cup, more like flex cup.
been running an ABB line with Pidgeot on the lead, Quag and S Swampert in the back - it generally holds up but man Arctibax is a pain to deal with, even got washed by a whole Baxcalibur the other day
Excellent video. I have been using a very similar team; been using skeledirge, Arcticbax, and Clodsire. I was pretty impressed, but I had some trouble when I went up against Jellicent, but I’m totally going to try out Trevenant if I have the chance.
I want an Arctibax so bad.

I LOVE Arctibax. I can't wait until I'm able to get a better IV one but I've been having fun sets in this Catch Cup with a Jellicent/Arctibax/Clodsire team.
the bigger attack stat on arctibax is sneaky good for those matchups where DB does one more damage.

about the medis, i have two right now, one 4/15/15 (that i've built following the PVPoke rankings before i understood the breakpoints and CMP ties) and my nowadays GL Medi 7/15/14 that i've caught and built this season, so it's been fun using it on catch cup
this pokemon has been everywhere in catch cup and tbh looks really fun and bulkier than I would have expected

Stone Edge on Clod was the play for this meta
Yeah I also think if u don’t have another ground type on ur team u pretty much have to run mud shot for the almost guaranteed opposing clod
I’m using Arctibax in the catch cup and it’s doing wonders. Using it as the lead with S-Victreebel and Nidoking. It deletes the Sire family. I’m enjoying Arctibax.

I specifically powered up an XXL one with okayish IVs because i wanted him to be chonky. 🎉
An xxl shiny would have been SICK though.
I am using Arctibax from the 1st day of Catch Cup. But my reason was just that the Pokemon looked cool....

i powered up both a shiny and non shiny of Clod - i kept one with megahorn just in case ha

It just so happened that my best two clodsire and best quagsire were all shiny, lol.

I caught 2 rank one clodsires, 1 is regular and other is shiny both powered up.
11:10 both but the default one is poison sting with sludge bomb and earthquake and the shiny one has megahorn with mud shot
the only pvp iv clodsire i have happens to be shiny

Do NOT run Quagsire with Aqua Tail/Mud Bomb. Terrible for this Cup. Mud Bomb/ Stone Edge ideal for Grass Matches 😉
