After the Swami finished chanting Om he kept on standing still for quite a few moments. As if he is having Samadhi. I didn't see how Sri Sri Ramakrishna looked like, but I can clearly imagine after seeing Swamiji.
It's only because of the divine intervention that this video appeared on my video feeds. I was so confused between OM and AUM. Initially when I started chanting, I started with OM, and the results were amazing. I witnessed a completely new version of myself. And then, my monkey mind did what it always does, started looking for more info, and I see that a lot of influencers say that pronouncing OM is wrong and AUM is correct. I tried the AUM chant, and I literally felt that this is not working, I didn't notice any change. Thank you so much Swami ji for the much needed clarification. I believe you should intervene and create an awareness among the people, because I am 100% sure, that alot of people are following AUM. This is a serious problem.
I hate to admit it but I fall asleep to Swamiji every night. I listen intensely for about 20 minutes then I'm gone. It's OK. I often listen to him awake for a couple hours
What wonders me he forgets himself completely। I couldn't help but notice he stood there for one and half hour addressing the seated audience। In India disciples can never let their Gurus stand like this। They are God themselves। In India Guru is considered even above God। First Guru then God। Swamij is so humble and sweet। Truly name personified। Dear to all।

I am enjoying chanting OM. I do it every day 45 times deep OM chanting. One chant 30 to 40 sec. and sometimes even 108 times. I enjoy vibrations in my head when I end OM with m. After m I maintain silence but also do 3 bandha i.e Jalandhar < Uddiayan and Mula bandha. I hope I am on the right track. I will be obliged if I get guidance from Swami Sarvapriyananda.
Shri Ramakrishna went further steps ahead on shri shankaracharya and established vijyana vedanta where Brahman, jagat and jivas are real as Brahman became the universe ! Hence jagat is not mithya but real.

Guruji, I was going thru lot of struggle in understanding about certain aspects of philosophy.After listening to your lectures,I got the clarity .Now I am able to ... REAL "SELF"
According to my analysis - whatever is a particular moment's 'object' of focus for us - is us. Means, if I think about or look at a vase on the table intently - I'm that vase! However, then I ping to my past references (memory) immediately and realise - Oh! That vase is different! And I'm David. So, probably this is similar to the concept of - 'I' and 'Me' of George H. Mead Thirdly, our 'self' is just the culture that has been 'coded' to our brain/mind since our childhood by the society. If that culture is removed or (virtually) the memory is terminated, there is just a presence. No self, no judgement etc. But, that seems difficult, since even to perceive awareness - it takes a microsecond. So, virtually there can be no experience without the memory, atleast in the sense of this world. However, there can be other experiences, I mean the senses can get independent of the physical organs and perceive things. This is because once the memory is gone the 'concious entity' will get free of cause and effect, and it will 'think' itself into various experiences on the go. However, this is just a hypothesis. PS. Thank you Swamiji for so awesome lectures. I really love them.
I came to the realization of non-duality a week ago, while taking sacred mushrooms. While integrating what I had learned, I discovered it was identical to the concept of Samadhi. (I have zero knowledge of Hindu or Buddhist philosophies, but I recognized it, nonetheless.) Shortly afterwards, I discovered the teachings of Swami Sarvapriyananda and have been listening to everything I can find on Advaita Vedanta. I immediately recognized and understood the teachings. I'm curious to know whether teachers of Advaita Vedanta recognize the potential of the sacred mushroom to experience it. I feel like it is something that cannot be learned intellectually without being understood experientially.

The yogi, on attaining this _supreme_ state, realizes/enters _Prajnanam Brahma_ which represents the greatest spiritual knowledge. In the end, it is a game of words in a ladder toward Moksha or Mukti - so, we shall not get trapped in words and cleverness, as this binds us to mere intellectual snakes & ladders, as it were. The Advaita school of Vedanta is 2 dimensional in not considering both the oneness and 'difference' view at the same time. Without considering both the oneness and difference view at the same time, we cannot completely understand _tat tvam asi_ and develop our spirituality further.

Yes, Vedic enlightenment is all about 'knowing' and not 'believing'. When we are said to 'believe' it means we are being told you need not 'know'. Loved the talk. Now one has to experience truth for oneself. Otherwise it remains a intellectual exercise. As a practicing neurologist I feel knowledge of neuroscience is puny compared to vedantha. In fact vedantha helped me understand limitations of neuroscience.

According to my analysis - whatever is a particular moment's 'object' of focus for us - is us. Means, if I think about or look at a vase on the table intently - I'm that vase! However, then I ping to my past references (memory) immediately and realise - Oh! That vase is different! And I'm David.
So, probably this is similar to the concept of - 'I' and 'Me' of George H. Mead
Thirdly, our 'self' is just the culture that has been 'coded' to our brain/mind since our childhood by the society.
If that culture is removed or (virtually) the memory is terminated, there is just a presence. No self, no judgement etc. But, that seems difficult, since even to perceive awareness - it takes a microsecond. So, virtually there can be no experience without the memory, atleast in the sense of this world. However, there can be other experiences, I mean the senses can get independent of the physical organs and perceive things. This is because once the memory is gone the 'concious entity' will get free of cause and effect, and it will 'think' itself into various experiences on the go. However, this is just a hypothesis.

I came to the realization of non-duality a week ago, while taking sacred mushrooms. While integrating what I had learned, I discovered it was identical to the concept of Samadhi. (I have zero knowledge of Hindu or Buddhist philosophies, but I recognized it, nonetheless.) Shortly afterwards, I discovered the teachings of Swami Sarvapriyananda and have been listening to everything I can find on Advaita Vedanta. I immediately recognized and understood the teachings. I'm curious to know whether teachers of Advaita Vedanta recognize the potential of the sacred mushroom to experience it. I feel like it is something that cannot be learned intellectually without being understood experientially.
Yes the mushrooms give you a TEMPORARY experience or a glimpse of what its like to be self realised / god realised :)

@16:21 *Prajna* is the doorway to the experience of the dream-state as well as the waking states. Prajna is the Self (*Atman* ) viewed as the universal person in deep sleep. The yogi, on attaining this _supreme_ state, realizes/enters _Prajnanam Brahma_ which represents the greatest spiritual knowledge.
In the end, it is a game of words in a ladder toward Moksha or Mukti - so, we shall not get trapped in words and cleverness, as this binds us to mere intellectual snakes & ladders, as it were.
The Advaita school of Vedanta is 2 dimensional in not considering both the oneness and 'difference' view at the same time. Without considering both the oneness and difference view at the same time, we cannot completely understand _tat tvam asi_ and develop our spirituality further.

!That letter describe the pattern of a vibration! , you may observe it at first with sounds , whatever sound it may be it always will be in that pattern (beginning, duration,and end within time and space)

Like this you may look for the origin of what you call YOU... the origin and destination of your individuality (something temporary) for try to reach in half clarity toward the source of the creation...(the origin and destination of your individuality , something beyond time and space , something not changing ever and not temporary...your Real essence and real identity... Yes, Vedic enlightenment is all about 'knowing' and not 'believing'. When we are said to 'believe' it means we are being told you need not 'know'. When you only 'believe' you become a sheep, a blind, an ignorant only to be led by others the way they want it. Spirituality is all about 'knowing' it yourself.
