I like how Kashtira is the perfect counter for Tearlaments, both lorewise and gamewise
Except if tear was at full force it was only about as viable as spright pre ronin hit
Of course now that tear has been executed enjoy your floodgate meta tcg gamers
@@nguyentandung42 I was tired of tear. I've been tired of tear. I can live with a little spice in my life.

@@nguyentandung42 you say "TCG gamer" as if it literally every format doesnt go into a floodgate meta relatively often. Look at Master duel. That games been out for a year and 9 months of it has been a floodgate meta with another coming up.

Why Konami thought it was a good idea to create such a deck... It's pure pain to see
Farfa is complaining about how miserable the deck is, and he's winning with it.
@@vxicepickxv "Miserable" means unfun and boring to play as/against.

Much dumber they didnât put a banlist on some cards that make Kashtira so powerful
We went from setting 1 monster... to 1 negator... to 3 negations to now making it literally impossible for your oponent to even PLACE cards on the field... fun...
Can we get a card that just literally removes your opponents side of the field? Not even locking zones, just removing them from existence permanently.
@@smoker6683 You can already do that. It's called flipping the table. The cost is just removing your side of the field from existence as well.
You had ojama back in the days that did that already lmao

âJuSt DrAw ThE oUt BrO!â. And thatâs basically this format. If youâre facing Kashtira, and you donât draw the out on your opening hand, you might as well just forfeit the game bc theyâll most likely banish your âOutâ before you can even play it.
This deck's about to suck. Everyone's going to build their main and side deck around it, and unlike Tear, $tira can't handle that. It's basically like whenever Mystic Mine won an event, and everyone started siding for it, and it just didn't perform at all in the next event.
If you do a full combo with arise-heart, Diablosis and 2 shangri-la you can block 6 zone in the first turn and you have to block spell/trap zone first and in opponent's turn you can block the other 4 monster zone.
This deck lose with a simple dark ruler + raigeki, dark hole or a book of eclyps etc so you have to block the spell/trap zone first.
If the opponent has sphere mode or lava golem, well you lose anyway
Also loses to nibiru, lava golem or kurikara

Ah great from one tier zero format to a brand new tier 0 format.
Tear = you play 1 card and I'm going off in YOUR turn making a break my board scenario in which you break it and everything just recycles and does it again
Kashtira = you have no zones, you cannot play a single card...
Konami WTF are you doing to this fucking game?!
Kash will not be tier zero lmao
Don't worry, Kash loses to:
Nibiru, lava golem, sphere mode, book of lunar eclipse, book of eclipse, weighbridge, destructive daruma karma cannon, and two book of moons. Also imperming riseheart can do a lot. It's thankfully very fragile
Mushroom Man #2
ash on papaya and we lit
Very fragile... Yet can lock out back row first turn and almost all ur monster zones before turn 2 main phase... And can banish 10+ cards from your deck face down in first turn getting rid of outs. Fragile if you draw the out but thats basically every deck. And back row is basically irrelevant bc any decent kashtira will lockout those zones first. Kashtira is fragile... But has the means to just straight up banish face down outs before they can be drawn and lockout zones so the outs cant even be used.
Iblee says hi to your Nibiru and Imperm
@@fadeleaf845 Some kashtira decklist literally run donner dagger fur hire just to out mushroom man #2 lmao
I remembered there's a old continuous spell that blocks 2 places, kashtira is that on steroids
Ground Collapse!
Ojama on crack
fun fact, shangri ira's zone locking effect is not continuous, it is a lingering effect instead. meaning if you use a card like dark ruler no more, or droplet, or chalice, or even impermanence, your zones will stay locked. the only way to free your poor zones is to remove it from the field or flip that bitch over.
I've been in games with Kashitira where the have every zone locked down after the resolution of one card. So I've been running board breakers and since they dont actually play negates board breakers like evenly, lightning storm, dark ruler no more. I've lost to Arise Heart though cause if they are running solemn cards to negate one of the board breakers its pretty much gg
How on earth are you lightning storming kash, you always summon arise and Shangri in defense turn 1
run dark hole or raigeki instead of lightning storm.
@@Effrenatus that also tend to have backrow but honestly out of the 6 times ive lightning stormed kashitara they always leave the shit in attack position đ but you have a point.I'm running triple evenly triple dark ruler with 2 lightning storm and 3 pot of prosperity to get what you need
Glad people are saying these things now. From the first day I played Kashtira on EDOPRO, I knew this deck was a massive mistake. Konami has been producing some of the most ludicrously powerful archetypes as of late back to back with massive toxicity in their design. I understand power creep but what they been making lately is over the top
Tears and ishizu ocg banned some of them still tear 1. TCG nuke them still has uncertainty potential needs experimenting.

Farfa slowly becoming a yugiboomer is the funnies thing ever
man, i'm thinking, it's only possible to duel this deck in best of 3 format WITH A SIDE DECK, how the hell we build a deck to go against in masterduel?!
If you treated the blind on paper like a Bo1 to avoid getting 2-0'd and timer scammed, you'd already know the answer to that.
This kind of deck pretty much needs to go first to win reliably, otherwise the most menial stuff like Jowgen Pass can potentially beat it, that already makes it a bad fit for the top half of the MD meta where anything without good going second options is kinda screwed. Fenrir's a start, but isn't going to be enough against set backrow. At least it can play Chaos Hunter to deal with things like Runick and Flooandereeze, and then XYZ it off later to go into their main plays.
It also doesn't have a really good plan for dealing with Kaijus and similar stuff beyond setting Mask of Restrict, which is not a good place to be in when the most obnoxious decks of the format don't need their Normal Summon.
They also don't get to know whether blocking MMZs or backrow is better, meaning it can get hit with a board wipe or Pankratops(which is at 3 now btw) or even an opposing Fenrir can be used to try to clear up space, which is the main reason they wound up hitting that card in the OCG in the first place, the deck's board was getting outed by its own cards when people weren't shoving monsters at each other.
Time for kashtier0 and draw the out turbo
Someone at konami saw Ojama king and though "Damn that's cool but what if it also were a macrocosmos on top of that?"
That was exactly my first reaction when played against CASHtira
Not like i haven't been complaining since the OCG reveals, though I'm sure we'll get a limit to Unicorn and/or Fenrir in the future or something along those lines. Not sure how good Kashtira Tear is going to be though, the hits to the deck were pretty big. I wouldn't be shocked if pure Kashtira is better.
Anyways, enjoy "Link Joker" format.
The music at the very end sounded like crash bandicoot music lol
You know what kashtira seems weak to board wipes and kaijus, i might try out going second crusadia kaijus if they are predominant in the next format.
That first duel goddamn. Well I have some new combos to practice now after seeing that bullshit.

In my eyes (an extreme budget player) the thing that is gonna be even more boring next format is the ycs mirror mathces for this deck. I know that 83% of the last ycs's were "tear ishszu", but atleast that mirror match was actually fun to watch. Next format, if people dont open a boardbreaker and there opponent special summons fenrir they just scoop
The kashtira mirror is actually pretty good honestly because ariseheart isn't an autowin, but yeah against the other decks there will be a lot of non games.
Lol good copetearfag and cry more tears.
Even floo mirror matches are more interesting than any tear game
It wonât be Kash mirrors. The deck diies to far too much.
There shouldnât exist a deck that banishes face down, unless theyâre like pot of desires where it involves a steep cost.
Just as a fun note, Tearlaments is the number one deck in no limits OCG tournaments, followed by Victory Dragonlink OTMK

Arise-Hearts favourite radiation to eat is Uranium 235 and 234
I feel that since MD is probably a lot more profitable than the ocg and tcg; konami will likely milk the playerbase with powercrept archetypes. Konami is slaughtering the balance of the game in the tcg-ocg since they dont care about the longevity of the physical game with MD being waaay more accessible.
In fact, maybe konami is actively trying to undermine the tcg-ocg since the cost of the supply chain in physical cards are much higher than the digital version in MD. Once MD has kept up with the releases in the ocg-tcg, there may be very little reason to play in person. Alternatively they can use the ocg-tcg to experiment with broken cards before polishing a relatively more balanced version for MD. Either way, bad news bears for players in the real world.
I been saying this. Plus, way easier to issue out erattas in digital format. That's why they rarely do it with the actual cards and just opt for hastily thrown together banlists.
ah yes, lose the coinflip lose the duel
Looks like I'll be maindecking Nibiru and Raigeki next format.

Is it bad that I like this deck?
It has cool artwork, revolves around level/rank 7 monsters, a really underused level/rank, I like the gimmick of banishing cards in response to effects (like Myutant, another deck I like to play).
Im still not buying the deck irl tho, im waiting till It gets hit and the prices get lower. Also, im a huge believer that banning mind hacker solves all the issues people have with this deck's playstyle.
I just want the new Abyss Actor cards.
Not going to lie the deck is actually fucking sick
Me too
Remember when Ojamas block the monster zones? Lol well this is that but a 100 times better and is actually a competitively viable strategy that would have an impact on the meta game. Maybe we see a nerf for this deck two banlist from now I am calling it.
Kashtirojama would go hard
Kashtira loses to alot of things to the point there no point in playing it
Kashtra is weak to board breakers, even the funny old book of moon works
Kash is cheeks without tear
Can't believe people were defending the Tear format solely on the basis of "the mirror is fun and skillful". Yes, I'm sure the floo mirror is, too, but does that really mean anything in terms of the game as a whole?
It's like playing Bayonetta in Smash 4. The deck is broken, and it's not fixed by saying "broken vs. broken is good".
Iâve listened to people say their favorite formats were where they flipped the coin showed their hands and went next. Gouki and zoodiac I believe. There are people who like thisâŠI donât get it either.
The smash comparison does not fully work, because most of the other smash characters are fairly unique except for the reskins. If the game instead had Bayo next to 40 differet marios from different games (mario moveset, not mario himself),
and a couple other characters who had very bad movesets but a passive abillity that unplugs your opponents controller every few seconds then i could fully agree.
@@markjacobs3232 eh zoo i get.
Gouki is insane though.
Atlest tear let you fucking play I can't say same about kashtrea
Anyway, summon Kurikara, go to battle phase...
You can set up as many negates as you want, summon your 4k Untouchable Dragondonk Overlord and set your solemn. That's fine. Just keep that shit to your side of the field, don't go milling MY deck or blocking off half my field. That shit's not fun, nor fair.
Kunami after creates a deck that literally beats ur opponent just because:Why no one's having fun......Why....?
The fact that this deck is _specifically_ weak to board breakers is what makes all the nonsense it can do tolerable.
Going first it can lock you out of the game, but it requires a god hand to pull that off, and losing even one monster can cost them the lock they work so hard to build. As crazy as the deck can get, it's not too bad compared to what full power tear, and arguably even floo, was doing.
except it's not
@@Superderpynerd it's not what? As far as weaknesses, pretty sure the consensus is that it's hella weak to the average boardbreakers (raigeki, dark hole, kaiju, ect). Tear can rebuild damn near instantly after getting hit by board wipes, but kash? Never heard a claim that it was _too_ strong apart from closing out boards (which it's harder to lock out all 10 zones without nuttier hands). Same for floo, but thanks to stormwinds dying, it's no longer the threat it was.
And what happens if your entire field gets locked? Plus I've seen Kash utilize cards that prevent you from stopping their play.
@@jesuschristthefirstjojo.7565 Nibiru and kaiju/golem/sphere seem pretty universally approved as kash stopper cards.

Fenrir is $15 right now
I could trade Dragoon for a Fenrir
kash in the next banlist is gonna get the tear treatment.
This is why I dont play Gusto anymore. If every deck is going to banish, then there is no point in playing a graveyard based decks. Just gonna keep playing Floo until they get rid of these cards.
Basically, if you go first against tournaments, you win, with kash if you go second you lose
Tearlaments at least gave you the illusion of having a chance and then recovered their entire board during you first chain. Kashtira gives it to you raw from minute 1.
Feels the opposite tbh. Kash feels like you have a chance if you draw enough handtraps/boardbreakers to stop them. Whenever i saw Scheiren eff/ Kelbek milling 5 i automatically always knew i was getting Tear combo'd that turn.
