This actually gave me the chills, coming from a person who lives in southeastern Michigan, and I don't live far from Detroit. Well done SPC, well done.
Tell me about it! Last tornado within 10 miles of where I live: 7/2/1997 Last tornado within 4 miles of where I live: 9/6/1989 Last tornado within 2 miles of where I live: 5/8/1964
I just watched your videos for the first time in 2 years and damn, I don’t even know why I stopped watching these because they’re amazing! For one of your upcoming videos, could you please set in in Albuquerque, NM (Bernalillo county)?
Even in this scenario, I'm still alive (Macomb County!) Haven't died in a non-nuclear scenario (not even in "The Battle of Detroit"!) yet, but I fully expect CA2 to end that streak.
1:51 This is a important thing to note. If this was to occur after the events of CA1, seeing Jackson get annihilated would likely trigger a mass evacuation of everything along I-94.
This will suffice until CA2 comes out. After all, this is... let's see... only the SECOND EAS Mock Tornado Scenario I've ever seen that happens in Detroit!
I live on the other side of the state but drive & work in the Detroit area 5 to 6 days a week..... probably would be an improvement if this happened 😂 -‐UPDATE AFTER LISTEN‐‐ It started in Jackson?? That is a VERY long distance for a tornado that size, but it's like the tornado we had a few months back that traveled from the Dansville/Williamston area and traveled down I-96 right into Webberville. The tornado destroyed entire forests on both sides and it still looks like someone firebombed the entire area. Every billboard was ripped down & only one house had shingles ripped off.
OH, GODS. THE TIGERS ARE PLAYING THE RANGERS IN COMERICA PARK ON APRIL 15, 2024 IN THE FIRST OF A THREE GAME SERIES. With a usual start time of 7:05 pm, and April 15 being a Monday, there could be as many as 27,500 people in the stadium at the time of the E-TOR-E. Even with how quickly us Tigers fans tend to leave the stadium, the twister would likely catch many -- as in FIVE TO FIFTEEN THOUSAND-- people in their cars thanks to traffic jams. That is, if they don't postpone the game beforehand. In other words, despite how well the people here would be prepared for it, what with a half hour of warning time, there could be a FIVE DIGIT DEATH TOLL. If the game is postponed, however, you'd be hard-pressed to get a death toll above three digits in Detroit proper.
National iconic buildings/structures destroyed: The Big House (Michigan Stadium) Detroit/Wayne County Metropolitan Airport The Big Tire (used to be a Ferris wheel that was used at a World's Fair) The Longest Entrance/Exit Ramps in North America (I-94/M-39 [Southfield Freeway]; The ramps from WB I-94 to M-39 are over 1.2 miles!) Hitsville , USA (Motown Records Museum) CoBo Hall The Spirit of Detroit (both the statue of Joe Louis AND The Joe Louis Fist) General Motors HQ (Renaissance Center) Trapper's Alley (now part of Greektown Casino) Unfortunately, the twister doesn't get The Golden Butthole... My fellow Detroiters will know EXACTLY what I mean.

When a new scenario drops, it's always a good time. Well done with this one.
Last huge tornado was in the 1950s in the Detroit area. We are over due.

I think they were 375 and 380 mph at their peak

OMG!!
My dad was born in Detroit, Michigan.
1:51 This is a important thing to note.
