This is the first in a multi-part video series about the Eenour PA600 and other products. This test was conducted at our home in Louisiana in the middle of the boiling hot summer. Video 2 will be a test on board our sailboat Maverick in equally hot and humid Rio Dulce, Guatemala! This is awesome! This looks like a really good option for off grid or power outages! Great review.
Great for both options... Stay tuned for an upcoming video showing how this A/C can be used with a Solar Generator and Solar Panels for a true off grid set up.
i like this design better than the ecoflow wave 2. the exhaust hose and the intake hose connectors are not in odd places like the ecoflow. that allows for a more flush install with stretching out the hoses too much.
I was interested in the ecoflow wave 2 as well. Do you have any experience with the ecoflow wave 2?
This could really come in handy for Hurricane season here in Louisiana.
Wow, what a great idea for power outages!
We think it's great! Thanks for watching!
Did you vent the hot air coming out the back out your window? In the bedroom? If not then it will never cool the room because the hot air needs to be dispelled from the room. Just like a regular a/c thatâs what the hoses are for
Hi Lance, yes I used the hose that came with it, and vented the hot exhaust out through the bedroom window. I used a portable A/C exhaust window kit that I bought online. It fit the hose and the size of the window well so that no hot air from outside was able to get in through the window.
Thanks man, great video. Shawn and I really going hmmmmmmm on that one looks very interesting. Wonder what it does on DC that is the key.
I think I will get the solar generator in next month, so I should be able to see then... I'll reach out to you and let you know.
Planning on buying this for an off grid cabin that I rent out. Absolutely looking forward to your next vid on the power bank test.
@@maybenj25 I am looking forward to this test as well. I will be testing to see how long I can run this A/C with just a solar generator and solar panels. Do you have any solar or wind set up now at your off grid cabin?
@@GenXPats I do. 2, 100ah lifepo4 batteries to a 12v MPP all-in-one charge controller/inverter and 480w of panels. Iâm in San Diego w plenty of sunshine.
Sounds like you have a good start already. The portable power station and solar panels I will be getting in is very close to your current set up. You should be able to get a very good idea of how long you will be able to run this a/c after my testing.
I have a truck camper. Could I set this up outside or is it necessary to have the ac inside your living space? I am limited on the space I have inside my camper.
Yes, you can either set it up inside or outside., though I think it will be more efficient if you set it up inside.
Is it comparable to ecoflow wave 2?
Hi James, I have not tested the ecoflow, so I cannot say for sure. The thing that stands out to me the most is the ecoflow has a battery and can run as a stand alone unit... The Eenour cannot. The Eenour has to be connected to a seperate power supply.
