- John talks with my colleague Tom Cottle. John is asked about Linda Evans and says "there is a special place in my heart for her". He also discussed his Father's retirement and blames the event for his Father's death.
John Forsythe's 60-year acting career began in films in 1943. He signed up with Warner Bros. at age 25 as a minor contract player, but he later starred in films like The Captive City (1952). He co-starred opposite Loretta Young in It Happens Every Thursday (1953), Edmund Gwenn and Shirley MacLaine in The Trouble With Harry (1955), and Olivia De Havilland in The Ambassador's Daughter (1956). He also had a successful television career, starring in three television series, spanning four decades and three genres: as the single playboy father Bentley Gregg in the sitcom Bachelor Father (1957-62), as the unseen millionaire Charles Townsend in the crime drama Charlie's Angels (1976-81), and as patriarch Blake Carrington in Dynasty (1981-89). He hosted World of Survival (1971-77).
John died at age 92 on April 1, 2010. - Zábava
He was a very elegant, well spoken gentleman. R.I.P.
His voice is gold
I liked this kind man. He was one of those humble American actors who did not need to be a noisy shouter. He was a gentleman.
Miss John so much beautiful soul
C'était un homme extraordinairement beau!!!!!!❤❤❤ vraiment beau 🤩❤ et il était une belle personne !!! Quel tristesse de l'avoir perdu 😢🙏
The story about his father being forced to retire, brought back memories of when my dad was forced to retire at 65. He just wasn't ready, and his health started to recline, a few years after. He just wasn't used to not working.
I love this man his acting is amazing his voice chocolate velvet
I Always loved his voice.
Thank you so much for this! Could you please, please post the rest of it? I would love to see it. And thank you for all the other wonderful videos you've shared. I've enjoyed them so much. This is like finding a treasure chest.
@David More He spoke correct English without slang or one utterance of "yeah, like, ya' know, soooo, hey, ummm, cool".
