Thank you for the video and congratulations on adding that beauty to your collection. It looks fantastic! I recently bought a new, open box Lasonic TRC-935 but it is a little different than yours. At 1:00 in your video, there are four purple colored buttons under the LED clock. My TRC-935 has five chrome buttons there instead. There also is an alarm on/off slide switch on mine between the clock and the microphone. Do you know when the alarm function was removed from the clock? Also, which model TRC-935 came out first, the one with the alarm or the one without it? I did not know that Lasonic made a change to this model during its production run.
Wow I didn't know that. But I'm not surprised because Lasonic made many changes to their models. Like on the TRC-920 they started putting fake tweeters on some of them, and they deleted the tuner light too. And on the 922 they completely changed its appearance without changing the model number.
@@80s_Boombox_Collector Thank you for the reply. I didn't know that Lasonic made a lot of small changes to their boomboxes other than the well documented changes to the TRC-931. Recently I showed a picture of my TRC-935 to another boombox collector and he commented on how it was what he called a "five button model." I did not know that having an extra button under the clock was anything unusual and I bought my TRC-935 just because it was new with the open box and all the original paperwork included. I never noticed that its clock was anything different from other 935s that I had seen before.
@@80s_Boombox_Collector Unfortunately no, it did not come with the service manual. It came with the instruction manual, warranty card, and the two paper cards in the cassette decks with cassette reels printed on them.
I’m not a big Lasonic fan but this is stunning. I have one in disrepair in the garage. It came with the usual shipping problems of the transformer breaking loose and causing all manner of internal mayhem.
@@80s_Boombox_Collector I like the Lamborghini Countach but if we're talking about cars from the '60s then it would have to be 1967 GT500 Shelby Fastback or the Ford GT40 MKlll
The volume slider can be fixed with some DeOxit FaderLube, but you might need to take it apart to reach the metal contact points. The door can sometimes be found on Ebay.

@@Locoboy5150 Did you get a service manual with it, or just the instruction manual?

@@Locoboy5150 well you should be proud of that find, I don't think I've ever seen one in the box before. Where did you find it?
BEAUTIFUL BRAND NEW OLD STOCK BOOM BOX AND KRAFTWERK!!! It's too much!!! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!!
Awesome!!! Never seen one in this condition.
My 975 still had the protective film on it. I had it imported from Japan! :')

Which is why I sold it, I doubt it would survive my upcoming move.
Great find, cool device👌📻
Have you considered removing the black foam from behind the speaker grills? This box has some beautiful white woofers.
Yes, but takes too much time because you need to use a dremel to reshape the speaker openings
@@80s_Boombox_Collector Worth it in my opinion
TOUR DE FRANCE ... KRAFTWERK 👏👏👏👏NICE BOOM BOX👏👏👏
Used to see these for sale at Woolworth's back in the day.
Ha, I remember Woolworth, and Zayre too
My dad got me one of these he found in the trash I'm running it aux to RCA thru my computer as studio monitors for FL studio and it's fucking amazing
Wow, some idiot threw it away? They get $500+ on Ebay
@@80s_Boombox_Collector yep! I am very much enjoying thier stupidity 🙂
Super...
That is sooo cool.
beautiful 😍
Nice !!! 😎👍
Wow

Make longer videos
No matter how long I make them, the average watch time is only about 60-70 seconds. Kinda pisses me off actually.
👍
Do you know how to get (or create) a replacement tape deck door for one of these?
The only thing I can think of is to look for TRC-975 or TRC-951 donor units, they should use the same doors.
i would like to buy
Holy crud!
W jakiej cenie można kupić używane
I seen a dude at Publix driving a McLaren the other day didn't phase me one bit BUT I see this and I get jealous. It doesn't make sense
Probably cuz McLarens look generic. Give me a classic Ferrari Daytona or Lamborghini Miura

@@80s_Boombox_Collector the Ferrari Daytona looks like a hyped up version of the Datsun 280Z. LoL
esa grabadora cuánto costó de dinero amigo
They cost $300 to $1,000 depending on condition.
👍👋🇲🇽
Вообще я свой доделывал ,цели все заклеил из нутрии УНЧ поставил мощнее
Он по заводу выдаёт 2*8 w
Для такой коробки мало
I have a 935 it works, but missing a cassette door and a little staticky when I raise the volume. Does anyone repair these?
