An album by Pac and Nas in their primes? This would have been the greatest collab album ever.
Pac was a Nas Stan
@@TreeSnackz lol, they mutually respected one another.
@@TreeSnackz they both were big fans of each other scarface was pac fav artist sounds like Nas was his 2nd fav
I imagin on TV bet show album battle filmed with 2 team of rapper battling :
Team 1.. DMX.. 50cent.. Eminem.. Jadakiss... styles p .. jay z bigpun.. raekwon.. Snoop...shyne VS Team 2 : 2pac.. nas.. biggie... method man... ll cool j... Redman... kurupt.. raekwon... prodigy... Scarface.! Who gonna won it will be epic....I had a though A dmx Eminem tupac nas album would be the most sold in the story of hip hop 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
A Tupac and Nas album would have made history, golden
It would have been trash like the Firm when Dre Signed Nas. . Dre also signed Rakim and they eventually parted ways. Neither are known for having consistent great production. Tupac's biggest talent was his songwriting ability. The lyrics would have been fire by both but the challenge would have been the production. They would have made songs with mediocre production like Gangster Party They would have needed outside producers like BattleCat and Nottz from VA.
@@rotweilerscholar1181is makaveli album did number 1 with wack beats, DRE would’ve flourished
@@rotweilerscholar1181 people love Dre but he's a extremely slow worker, I have an old magazine of artists coming out on After math, and I've seen none of these people, it has Lauryn Hill, don't know what happened with that

Tupac and Nas always has been my dream collaboration. It’s so sad how close it was to happening.
Or Pac and DMX

Thug mansion remix was meh
@@rigger49erDidn't DMX diss Pac?
@@dontecooper6479 I think so but that doesn’t mean that’s wouldn’t have been a dope album
nas was one of the few artists from back then that both pac & big respected lyrically & for who he was character wise. He never claimed to be the hardest or richest & he’s one of the few on the upper level that still speaks to our communities. could you imagine if nas & pac got to do a song together
Yeah they say that damn Quinton miller was writing for Nas hurt my heart, dude write for everybody and can't get a record deal for shit
@@robertbruce4054 oh ok glad to hear it I felt like I was cheated on, Quinton must have a horrible flow, they refuse to sign him

Biggie?! 😂😂 bruh stop! Biggie disrespected that man, his daughter & his girl on track. way worse than Pac did him lmaooo 🖕🏾 Biggie
@@JaeThaGemini who and when. 😂 I know you not talking bout that victory verse.
Respect to Reggie for posting this. Eric B is a legend!
Pac wasnt soft, but he was emotional towards niqqas(rappers) cause he expected more from the other Brothas who was speakin for the community. he was his most depressed when he was makin diss songs & bein agitated. he really just wanted blk folk to link together & run the World. it sounds extreme, but thats the dream he had for his community. he was down to squash all his beefs, even wit Biggie, if the game was willin to do community charity. he was playin chest usin the Thugged Out rap character that the culture would listen to. he developed whole rap sheet behind it. Pac was settin a stage that the oppresors couldnt shake, but got caught up in the process
💯💯💯
All facts 💯 well said
I think you’re giving him more credit. Nothing in this world, no matter how much you want people to unite and link, should make you make the most legendary diss song of all time where you say u fukd someone’s wife. That’s the opposite of Unity lmao. Tupac is my favorite rapper if all time but he was extremely immature, and rap music used to be autobiographical, so we as an audience got to witness that passion and immaturity expressed artistically. He was definitely ahead of the game and as he said didn’t shut up after he was shot, but I just wish he was a little more tact. Tact and smart enough that he’d know how to survive long enough to unite people.
@@VonJay i dont care what you think. i said what i said & stand on it.
@@JaeThaGemini did I hurt your internet feelings? Lmao. Just like you made a point I made my own. And “I stand on it” too 🤣
Pac N Nas with Death Row East and at the same time One Nation with BCC, Outkast etc... it's crazy what was bout to go down in '97. Too much greatness.

Pac was a Nas fan for sure. You can hear it in the music. The influence is there definitely.

@Amelia Rae having the ability to rhyme good doesn't mean you make good music
and lowkey would've set off a "rap civil war" in New York lmao
No disrespect not all the NY would agree it would be good and Pac only chose the people from NY that he respects 4 da One Nation album imagine Pac didnt die and met up with Nas again 2 really squashed the issue 4 sure he'll be on the One Nation project
That explains the look Craig gave puffy when he said he had a 2nd album coming out on BadBoy
Imagine if we would have got a Pac and Nas album! It could have been the greatest album in Hip Hop history. The only thing better would have been Pac and DMX
That wouldn’t have happened. I don’t even like the idea of it, Tupac murdered too many features. Their styles don’t really mesh either. It was ok for pac to murder the outlawz but with Nas on the track it would have been kind of one sided and understandably so.
@@VonJay I get what you’re saying what about DMX
@@rigger49er ah man that would have been a dream come true. I remember back then how people were saying that certain artists wouldn’t exist because of the lane that pac occupied. I wonder if that’s true, I’ll never know. But I wonder how rap would look if he lived till today.

I think 2Pac & Nas would have formed alliance and been rivals with Big & Jay Z because if you think about it, Big & Jay was close, & Pac & Nas had this energy where they were close too but from a distance.
I feel that about 2pac and Nas too.
You could tell they’d be great together, you can tell there are similarities with them.

What I find frustrating is Death Row not fulfilling its intended plan to branch out into the East, South and Midwest imagine what that could have done for hip hop/rap and the power that the label would have had….
Exactly. I feel that with or without Pac, if they was *really* down with him, they couldv'e at least tried to continue Pac's vision *alongside* dropping posthumous albums.
I can imagine who is the first artists of Death Row South would be The Convicts(Big Mike & Mr.3-2). Also I think RIP MC Breed & DFC or Danny Boy/RIP Jewell would be the first artists of Death Row Midwest located at Detroit. If located in Chicago. Who knows?
Everything fell apart after Pac died remember Suge violated because of that Vegas fight where you see him stomping Orlando. Dre was already out and Snoop also was done with snoop gone there's nobody really left everybody else was brought in my Dre or Snoop

I always hear the beat from Biggies "My Downfall" with Pac n Nas rapping over it.
They were gonna fly Nas out to LA for a collab the day after pac died……..*mind explodes*
Nas mentions 2pac again in his latest album in the song 'First Time' in complimentary terms.
Would have loved a collaboration between them. The 2 best IMHO.

Shout out to Reggie once again bringing the Facts. Damn Reggie all the things you know now I bet you could change back the hands of times.. Death Row & Pac would've been bigger than life even though they were already Big at that time
He was going to do a song with Nas not a Album & Tupac was correct Nas did have a diss that got leaked 25 years later so Tupac wasn't tripping and you can look it up
I believe Biggie dissed Nas on Kickin in the Door cause he didn’t like that Nas became cool with Pac before he died.
Nah, Nas threw subliminals earlier
@@bluetheory2 yup on The Message
Kick in the door was a diss song towards nas and few other people. Nas address that on God Son.

No lie I was just Finna look this up today I was listening to Death Row East lastnight & Nas said “Eric B & Preme was affiliated”
When i look back in the day the two artists that had bigger impact to me as a wee laddie were Nas and Pac . They are already in my top 3 great hip-hop artists ever . But collaboration between them was going to be the greatest MAGIC that the art of hip-hop was going to be able produce . I can imagine it just voice wise they were the perfect match .
This clip with Eric B put a smile on my face but also made me a little sad. We missed out on some great music that could've been made with Pac and Nas together. I really believe that eventually Pac and Big would've squashed the beef. It wasn't real anyway. Who shot ya just had Pac paranoid cuz people were sneak dissing him and saying he got raped in jail. Deathrow East was going to end it. And then Deathrow South was gonna unify it all. Imagine OutKast and Goodie Mob and Scarface with Pac. Imagine Pac, Nas, Big, and Jay on a record together. The irony is they used the same sample/beat on their albums at the same time to great effect, although they were on different coasts: 2Pac - 'All Eyes on Me' from the album 'All eyes on me' and Nas - 'Street Dreams' from the album 'It was Written'. Dre may have had something to do with that as he worked on both albums. But I guess that's what happens when the universe is at work.
it was written came out first an its well known pac listened to it on repeat before he died in vegas. i wonder if pac picked those samples for what were going to be diss tracks on nas?
@@fleamarketmixtape3793 What are you on about? They were released the same year. In fact 'All Eyes on Me' came first by a few months.
Furthermore, Pac had already released 'All Eyes on me' and had reconciled with Nas by that night in Vegas. If he did listen to 'It was Written' in Vegas it would have been in prep for the joint album he wanted to do with Nas as he wanted to fly Nas out to LA that Monday.
@@diamondwest35 thats what a lot of people say on interviews that pac was listening to it was written on repeat. as far as what came out first. im pretty sure it was written came out first. unless its just that the songs where the 2 samples were used nas used them in more popular songs. i know that when i heard all eyez on me i noticed the samples and said oh he used the nas beats being that i was totally ignorant to production at the age of 15 like most teenagers only really knowing of a handful of producers at that time. and all i was doing was asking a question anyways i don't understand your issue talking bout what im goin on about.. you make yourself sound like a weirdo 2pac worshiper. nothing against pac its just the ones.. you know the ones??? lol

Pac/nas vs jay/big would have been some fire shit
Eric B seems like a very regular everyday person. And he also seems like the a person you wouldn’t want to get on his bad side.
💎
I wonder if Nas and PAC would have hooked up and made that album together I wonder how Big and the East Coast would have truly felt about that?? I think that would have turned the beef up even more between them. Biggie would have been feeling like Nas betrayed him and the East Coast by working with Death Row. It all depends on what kinda message PAC would have been trying to send out with that Nas album. If PAC was really pushing for that One Nation album and trying to put an end to the East vs West Coast war then his affiliation with Nas would have been completely understood. At the same time, if they was about to sign Craig Mack that would have been a direct insult to Bad Boy and made things even worse in trying to settle their differences. It’s like one minute Death Row is pushing for peace but at the same time their still using dirty tactics to instill fear in Bad Boy. PAC was intelligent but very manipulative and calculating as well. I wonder at the time of his death was Pac REALLY pushing for peace, or was he just gonna use Nas and Craig Mack as a means to show Bad Boy that Death Row really won the war and that they wanted complete dominance in the rap game?? 🤔 If only PAC would have stayed alive we could have witnessed a complete restructure of the rap game with PAC as the head of the new regime which I truly think he was pushing for. SMH!!
@@reggiewright ,If this is the real Reggie Wright responding, I would like to ask you a question. How come nobody from Deathrow or Nas camp ever addressed the issue that PAC dropped the All Eyez On Me beat first on the AEOM album, then Nas dropped the same beat on “Street Dreams” It Was Written Album. Both beats were the exact same and both albums came out the same year within months apart. Still to this day Nas or no one from Deathrow ever addressed the issue regarding them sharing the same beat at the time of their beef. Either PAC stole Nas beat or vice versa which could have made the beef between Nas and PAC escalate.
If Nas and Pac worked together, than probably a collaboration with Mobb Deep was also a possibility 🔥
