Ive had one for years made from a file cabinet, and the grills from my propane barbeque fit perfectly on the drawer slides inside.. everybody laughs when they see it but shut right up when they taste my ribs..lol
Thanks T&T BBQ. I tried your method with the Masterbuilt and the charcoal. I will let you know how it comes out. Keep putting out videos potna.... I never stop learning and improving my techniques.
Levi Whaley just to be safe I would burn it out with wood on each shelf at least twice. Then a pressure wash would be good. Then a good sanding and paint.... Thanks for stopping by the STALL
Wendi I used your standard expanded metal that I got from the metal supply store here in San Diego. If you ask for expanded metal they will know what you mean
You are a genius. I have an old file cabinet going to make one myself. Thanks for the great idea. Using HVAC vents to regulate air flow is perfect.
First build I’ve seen with the vents while getting ideas ... actually good looks
Looks great….giving me a lot of ideas….thank you for sharing

Where do you find the grate for inside the drawers? Is there a specific name for it? Does it comes in panels or are they custom made/sized?
Wendi I used your standard expanded metal that I got from the metal supply store here in San Diego. If you ask for expanded metal they will know what you mean
Thank you! I couldn't find the name to save my life! Keep smokin! 😊
No problem Wendi. Let me know when you put yours together....BOYLOOKAHERE
Oh my God the vent and damper! Before you do all that, take it apart, sand it down, power wash, and hit it with high temp spray paint.
Christopher Burns I'm gonna burn it out a couple times and sand it
How did you get the grates I need some.
I cut them to fit. I used thick guage expanded metal.
What about the chemicals the heat will release from the paint?
I recommend burning that thing out at temp hot as hell to burn off the paint
Is the metal from a file cabinet toxic?
Once you burn all the paint off the inside once or twice you will be fine. Thanks for stopping by the Meat Stall 🍖
@@themeatstall9001 it’s winter right now in Canada but in the summer I definitely gotta make one of these. Thanks man
I have a drawer like such,..awesome idea I’ll keep looking,..subbed and smashed the shit out of that like button,...cheers

Where do you buy the grates
I got a sheet of thick guage expanded metal at my local metal supply store and cut it to fit. Thanks for stopping by the Meat Stall
