- When I say I 'Mr Beastified' my ferrets' enclosure, I mean throwing an insane amount of money at something to make it a lot more fun! Ferrets have bright, curious brains, and need a good space to play in. So, I decided to turn an old patch of dirt into a ferret wonderland. Watch as the outside run takes shape, leading to the most adorable Dora the Explorers as my cute little ferrets ventured out into the great wilderness!

I’m planning on getting ferrets and I’ve watched a lot of your videos. Are there any tips you have for me?💕
Oh that is brilliant! Have you watched my compilation of all the tips and guides I've made? It's 30 mins long though you might have watched some of the content already czcams.com/video/KlOSAwjNQvo/video.html ... Biggest tips from me... when ferret proofing your home don't underestimate their ability to get through tiny gaps (if you can insert 2 fingers into a hole, a ferret can likely get through it), climb curtains and soft furnishings and even make crazy leaps through the air to try and get anywhere you don't want them to get! And the other one is feeding. Make sure you stick to a good diet to avoid health problems down the line - either 100% meat or if you are going kibble, make sure the kibble is one of the limited number of brands that are not bad for ferrets... ingredients to watch for are grain and legume protein (like pea protein) and they should be at least 80% meat products.. I use a mix of Iam's kitten and Applaws kitten, and reason I use a mix is so they are used to 2 brands in case supply of one has a problem. Many ferrets don't like sudden changes in diet and will starve themselves rather than eat something unfamiliar, so you need to introduce new flavours gradually, mixed in with familiar food. It is still at the old property, It was easier to make a new one than to dismantle the old one and transport it a few hundred miles, and there would be a delay in having a new ferret home during rebuilding it, a new enclosure was been built at the new property before the move.
