    Location
    1. Mount Arbel is located on the west side of the Sea of Galilee and is the tallest mountain around the Sea of Galilee.
    2. It has a spectacular view of the Sea of Galilee, which is about 8 miles (12 km.) wide, and about 13 miles (21 km.) long.
    3. It rises about 1,200 ft. (365 m.) above the Sea of Galilee.
    4. It has on its eastern side a cliff that drops right down to the Sea of Galilee basin.
    5. This cliff has many natural caves used throughout history for battles and protection.

    Historical Background
    1. History and tradition locate Mount Arbel as the place where Christ gave the Great Commission mandate to go into all the world and preach the gospel.
    2. Many theologians believe this is the place because it is the tallest mountain in the area and provides a perfect view of the Sea of Galilee.
    3. Because Christ spent around 60% to 70% of His ministry time around the Sea of Galilee, Mount Arbel would have provided the perfect backdrop as Christ gave His disciples the powerful Great Commission mandate.
    4. The Great Commission was one of the last contacts Christ had with His disciples, which shows the importance of this commandment.
    5. The cliffs of Mount Arbel have natural caves that have been used as shelters for rebels against Herod the Great, revolts against the Romans, and later periods. The ruins of Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine villages lie below the cliffs and on its southwestern side.

Absolutely beautiful, Israel is deffinitly on my list of countries to visit. I believe it would bring me so much closer to our Lord and Savior. I have been overseas but it was not to any pretty places. While I was in the Marines I got to visit Iraq twice and then I got sent to Afghanistan on my last trip in the military. Israel has got to be the most interesting little country on Earth. Right now it's financially out of reach but one day I WILL see these sights. I would love to bring my mother and father as well. Thank you for another video showing the beauty and explaining the history of these Biblical sights.

I'm kind of a New Testament nut and when I started comparing the resurrection stories with each other, I was, frankly, amazed. Matthew and Mark reports Jesus telling His disciples to meet Him in Galilee after His resurrection, where He would give them further instructions. Matthew has them returning to Galilee but Mark's account (because it's distorted due to the artificial ending) has Jesus giving His instructions in Jerusalem. (Like I said, it's kinda distorted.)
Luke has Jesus telling His disciple to "Tarry in Jerusalem", which they seem to do but, as was pointed out to me, there was enough time in between the resurrection and Pentecost for the disciples to have returned to Galilee, receive the Great Commission, and then run back to Jerusalem before the feast.
But I had never noticed these varied endings until I got serious about studying the bible for myself. I'd been to hundreds of bible studies and sat through thousands of sermons and nobody ever pointed this out. Matthew and Mark are completely silent about the mess that was the Jerusalem church. They end the story with the Great Commission. John actually shows the disciples returning to Galilee and to their lives as fishermen on the Sea of Galilee (Tiberius). No "Tarry in Jerusalem".
While there's no reason to suspect that Matthew, Mark, and John's accounts are incorrect, Luke seems to have the most complete record even though he leaves out the return to Galilee and the Great Commission. Like I said, it's something I'd really never noticed until I became an absolute New Testament nerd.

What strikes me most about the line of thinking a huge population seems to have is that all u have to do is be a good person. I told some friends that he’ll will be full of good people. The Bible is specific on what to do and what happens if we don’t. There is no gray area and people who think they should have total control of their lives live in that gray area. This is repent and live by his laws or spend eternity in hell. And yea the Bible speaks of eternal/eternity many many times. It’s infinity.

I truly respect these videos and teachings of Pastor Todd and it is always almost 100 % accurate information, but the true historical 5000s feeding site isn't most probably the place mentionned by the Pastor on this video. It was most probably the "Bethsaida Galilee" site between Ginossar and Capernaum, I mean the current Tabgha site. Read again the 4 gospels who speak about this mirracle and it will make sense in this order. It wasn't the Bethsaida Julias site which is the common site known as "Bethsaida" today and the north of the sea.

Every knee will bow to the name of Jesus!
Thank you for the nice footage and biblical teaching up until 21:50 when you speak of eternal damnation.
Yes, they will be damned eternally, but no sinner can live forever. God made that plain to Adam and Eve.
It was Satan who said they would not die.
So why do many Christians today promote Satan's lie that you can keep sinning and still live forever?
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
If that text is true, and it is, then those who believe that the fires of hell continue forever must admit that there will be no pain, sorrow, or crying in hell!
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
So we see, from the Bible itself, that the effects of the fire are "eternal", not that the fire itself is eternally flaming.

Regarding the Divinity of Christ doctrine: Our modern versions flip the following passage on its head.
Php 2:6 - Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Our new Gnostic versions of the bible turn that verse around 180 degrees. Here's what the ever changing NIV says:
    Php 2:6 (NIV) - Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
The Gnostics say that Jesus did NOT consider equality with God something to be grasped but look at John's Gospel:
John 5:18 - Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
According to the narrative - according to John - Jesus (A) Broke the Sabbath and (B) Made Himself equal with God. John does NOT say, "They _thought_ He made Himself equal with God", no. He made Himself equal with God. Thus saith the Lord but the Gnostic NIV says, "He didn't consider equality with God something to be grasped". They have to completely change the text of the bible to force their Gnostic doctrine down our throats.
Fortunately, I will only read the KJV or sometimes the Douay-Rhiems (Catholic) version of the bible. I only read the Gnostic versions (ESV, NIV, NASB, RSV, etc.) when I'm looking for comic relief. Stay away from the Gnostic versions.

Jesus said, "The Father and I are one", but a husband is "one" with his wife and they are two separate people. So, quoting that passage doesn't really help the position that the Father and Jesus are the same entity (any more than a husband is the same entity as his wife). The analogy breaks down. We can indeed say that God is one and there is one God because the godhead is singular in mind and in purpose. Like I said, the husband and wife analogy breaks down the closer you try to combine the analogies.
They are separate persons - we can say that. And the Father is greater than the Son. We can say that. And we have to also say that they are one. If that makes total sense to you then you've done the math wrong. It's not supposed to make sense. 😄

If you read the New Testament closely, when it is talking about baptism it NEVER says that a person is saved BEFORE he is baptized. Treating baptism like it's an optional add-on trivializes the whole thing. Why do it, if it doesn't have anything to do with anything? Saying things like a person was baptized AFTER he was saved puts the cart before the horse. That's not the picture the New Testament paints at all. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved" (Mark 16:16). That conjunction has meaning.
Pulling the Thief on the Cross out of your hat is totally invalid. The Thief on the cross died before Jesus rose and gave the commandment. If you want to pursue it further, the Thief was LITERALLY crucified with Christ - the very POINT of our baptism. In his discussion of baptism in Romans 6, the Apostle Paul says this:
Rom. 6:6 - Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
The point of baptism - its purpose - is to be symbolically crucified with Christ. We are killed as Jesus was. We are buried with Him (planted together in the likeness of His death) and raised to walk in newness of life. This is what baptism is for. It is NOT optional.
The New Testament has MUCH more respect for the things of God than any Evangelical I've ever met. Cite me B/C/V that says that baptism is some public proclamation of your dedication to God. Show me any passage that reduces baptism to public display of piety. Show me a passage of scripture that recommends just doing it to be doing it - like if you're next to the Jordan River or wherever. There is ONE Lord, ONE faith, and ONE baptism. You don't go getting baptized every time you feel like it. That is blatant unbelief in the power of God. It's blatant unbelief in the efficacy of baptism. It's not the obedience of faith, it's disobedience and unbelief.
If you want to know about baptism PLEASE DO NOT ASK A BAPTIST because they do NOT believe in its efficacy. If you want to know about baptism then ask someone who respects it and the One who commanded it. Ask someone who, like the Apostle Peter, was "saved by baptism" (1 Peter 3:21).

I am only interested in Truth, pure strength, no dross. Great video until I had to pray and ask the Father if I need to defend this Truth again, He seems to remind me that I will need Him to stand for me on that day. My God is Love, pure and simple. There is a strange act, a strange work to be done. His fan is in His hand, He winnows away the chaff. Where does the chaff go when it's burnt? It's gone, ashes are all that's left. You must understand that you need Jesus to be Love, Love is not an eternally punishing God. That's the devil, Mr. misinformation himself. I am thoroughly convicted to exposing his work where he interferes with my Loving Father. How long was Jonah in "hell" 2:2? Answer "forever" 2:6, you see,, Jonah was in hell forever, then three days later he was released. If I want Jesus to stand for me I must find a way to show you that you need to repent and do the work again because you are leading people to destruction, perishing for you. You won't burn forever but you will not enter into the city that you love so dear. When you see with your own eyes what you missed, you will remember me. Here's what I believe and put all my hope in, someday soon the wickedness of man will get so bad that when it seems hopeless, when it seems like God doesn't care, when men kill men just for having convictions like mine that are fully settled on Truth and that Truth is more important than life itself. There will only be two kinds of people, the saved and the lost. Only the "remnant" will be saved, the remnant is the last piece of cloth from the bolt that looks exactly like the first piece from the bolt. Enter through the narrow gate, Jesus will come and call His own to meet Him in the air and ever to be together. All the lost will be destroyed by the brightness of His coming but not buried, only Satan and his dreadful angels will be left alive on earth for 1,000 years while the saved go to the City of God to open the books. It was God who was on trial, it was God who was accused in Eden of having ulterior motives and Satan tried to steal heaven. Satan is the evil one, all he wants is to be worshipped in place of our Creator. He needed his own day so he convinced the pure church to exchange the Lord's Day, 7th day for the venerable day of the sun, the 1st day. If he can convince people to change God's day, he has them eating out of his hand. Back in Heaven, after 1,000 years of examining the books and reviewing every case it is seen throughout the entire universe that God, our Creator is Love and Truth and Life and that no dishonesty has ever existed in Him and it is fully understood that Satan has tried to pull a coupe and knowing that God had to prove His case while His hands were tied behind His back but now finally, He is acquitted and the devil is convicted and sentenced. It's not revenge like we like to think, it's an act of Love, His strange work is a work of Love, to destroy sin, so that no one is ever again infected by that deadly disease. Then, all tears are wiped away, but now the execution of the sentence happens back on earth and the saved come back to earth in the new city, Holy Jerusalem, at this time Jesus calls the second resurrection, the resurrection of the dead, and now, every person who has ever lived on earth is alive again, all at the same time and Satan finally has his army again, he stirs up his forces to take the city but alas, Jesus rises up and starts the fire in satans belly that burns up them all, to the saved it will be a sea of glass mingled with fire but, to the lost its a Lake burning with fire, those who were bad actors will have more stripes than others but all will eventually be burnt to ashes and nevermore be remembered. The fire will go out in time the way fires burn until there is no more fuel. The saved will get to witness Jesus recreation of the earth in perfection with the tree of life, always home here on a perfect earth with perfect eternal bodies that will never tire or wear out. Always near Jesus, no more tears, no more pain, that's how I believe in a God who loves His children. There's a lot more detail but that's my overview of future events. Have faith and be bold.

I love the history and the geography and seeing places that are in the Bible. But, it's mind blowing that the guy reading the Bible is reading a scripture that clearly proves Jesus is NOT God, but is in fact God's son - and he breezes right by it as if it wasn't even there. Did he miss the part where the Bible says the "Authority" was GIVEN to him? Who gave it to him if he is in fact God? Who could possibly give God any authority whatsoever - the One who inherently has All Power?
Here's a great question to ask: What did God the Creator make before he made humans and animals? In other words, long before God ever started working on the earth, what was one of the first things he created? The answer: Angels (other spirit creatures just like Himself). Would God possibly refer to the very first Angel he created as his "firstborn"? Hmmm......Would not God then proceed to create everything else with the help of his Firstborn? Would God not work side by side and create everything for him and through him at that point? Seems like a reasonable assumption....especially considering that the Bible tells us exactly that.
You just have to understand what is actually going on in the Bible. Jesus was a real being in Heaven long before he was born as human. He obviously wasn't called Jesus in Heaven...as that was the name given to Mary to name her child.
In the same way, Satan and his demons were also originally Angels (created by God, later, after he created his "firstborn"). Obviously, this was before they rebelled against God and were cast out of Heaven. The war that is being fought is a battle between God's Angels and Satan's Angels. And Jesus, as the firstborn, is leading the battle - because God gave him the authority to do so (just as the scripture tells us).,
So, if you understand that perspective, you can then fully understand how God is God and Jesus is his Son (as the Bible tells us repeatedly) -- not some other version of God. Ask yourself these questions: Would God ever need to be baptized? Jesus was baptized. What happened during that event? A voice from Heaven says for all to see and hear: "This is my Son...whom I approve". Does God approve of Himself? Is God his own Son? Did God do a ventriloquist act to make it seem like he was both in Heaven and on Earth at the same time? Or was God in Heaven speaking to the world -- while his son was standing in a river, soaking wet?
Need more to wrap your head around this? Why does the Bible refer to the things Jesus did as "miracles". If Jesus was God, these things wouldn't be miracles at all. It would actually be common sense because -- "he's God". God could certainly do those things and wouldn't be miracles at all. But, for a human (someone who is not God), well, those would certainly be miracles. And Jesus tells us that everything he does is through his Father in Heaven - they are not of his own power. How can that be, if he is God?
All you have to do is read the whole Bible. All of it. Not bits and pieces. You can make the Bible say all sorts of things if you just start piecing together this scripture and that scripture. But, when you take the whole Bible in context, and understand what is going on, these other issues become very clear and you finally realize that all you have to do is trust what the Bible tells us. We don't need to add anything to it that it doesn't actually say. God is the Creator and the one and only True God. Jesus is his son. Both are spirit beings - but the one we refer to as Jesus is an Angel (he obviously didn't ascend back to Heaven as a human), and he is a lesser being than God. We know Angels are lesser beings --- how else could God vanquish Satan in the end if they were equal beings? Think about these things...and then go back to the Bible and read what it says. Not what other people tell you it says -- what it actually says. Cheers
