Just gonna point out that increased str lvl DOES increase dps even if you don't gain a max hit. This is because you get a slightly higher chance to hit higher since your max hit increases from, say, 22.3 to 22.9. Your possible damage range increases even if you don't gain a max hit, basically. Therefore, getting 99 str might be worth it.
I'm almost positive this isn't true since the hits are always rounded down and you have an even chance of hitting any amount from 0-max given that you roll a successful hit.
Thoughts on keeping the chaos runes etc once you get higher defence and your trips last like 5 hours? Losing a few inv spaces might not be such a big deal then.
Dumb question since you were grinding the boss for the shield (assuming your smithing level wasn’t high at the point in time) where did the rune scimitar come from on f2p?
why not take a staff of fire with you to the giants and alch any of the drops you get, seems more efficient rather than leaving behind 10-30 alchable drops for the [rice of 1 invent slot, or are you saving your nats for something else?
maybe (since im quite sure they drop limpwurts) pickup the limpwurts and get red spider eggs in the karamja dungeon. and on your way to restock for ur trip make like 3 or 4 str pots in varrock?
is it worth taking a pickaxe to moss giants to mine the addy? if you mine it in 1 tick great, if not then carry on attacking giant. maybe could work on coal
It's an idea, but I'd have to carry a pickaxe and fire runes which is 2 lost inv spaces and spend some time mining addy (which can be kind of slow) and the amount of coal I get in a trip wouldn't really amount to that many bars.
