Chatsworth House is a stately home in the Derbyshire Dales, 4 miles north-east of Bakewell and 9 miles west of Chesterfield, England. The seat of the Duke of Devonshire, it has belonged to the Cavendish family since 1549.

Thank you for this beautiful video. You obviously go to great lengths to make an excellent presentation; for example, few people know that mirrors were very expensive during the 17th and 18th centuries (like pineapples!). Considering that the Cavendish were staunch protestants, it is ironic that the religious paintings that decorate the house are all very catholic in style and spirit. Regards.
