I work for the big blue bus in santa monica, california and we have nabi articulated buses, but these mercedes buses are so beautiful i love mercedes buses since i lived in el salvador in the 1970's

I would like these Citaros to be in Peru, it would be a good alternative to improve public transport and be the first country in South America (in Latin America Mexico already has them) to have this type of buses. We have buses imported from China but the truth, I would prefer to see them.

The MTA in NYC did consider purchasing Citaros at one point and even imported a demo unit. But ultimately decided to get New Flyer and NovaBus buses instead.
Well I think this bus looks very European and would look strange on US streets but well sad for you... :/
In NYC, the average bus age is about 8 to 9 years; our oldest buses (NovaBus RTS) are 21 years old and still running strong

Jetzt weiß ich auch, warum es kaum Strassenbahn-Werbefilme gibt. Die Busse können immer schön an den schönen Strecken fahren, an denen es lange keine Haltestellen gibt. Und Trams fahren dort, wo es den Verkehr gibt, auf festen Gleisen.
Aber mal etwas ernsthafter: Sehen Sie sich mal die Haltestelle im Film (Kurve) an: Meilenweit vom Kantstein weg und Einstiegshöhe von 30cm. Das kann man mit einer Stadtbahn besser machen (Okok, zu höheren Kosten, klar. Aber wenn die Fahrgastzahlen dazu stimmen?)
Strassenbahnen werden individuell gebaut damit die auf das Gleisnetz, Haltestellenstandard/Bahnsteighöhe/Breite/... passen. Das ist nicht von der Stange und daher wird es mit Werbung schwierig.
Anders ist es mit Zügen für das normale 1435mm Netz mit einigermassen Standard Lichtraumprofil. Da gibt es Werbung von Stadler, Bombardier, Siemens und vielen anderen.
Nur: Diese Werbung wird für eine andere Zielgruppe gemacht. Für Entscheider von Eisenbahnunternehmen.
Diese Citaro-Bus-Werbungen zielen auch auf die Masse um das Image von Mercedes Benz aufzuwerten und natürlich Stadträte mit Sympathie zu belohnen wenn sie sich für ihren Nahverkehr sich für Citaro entscheiden (ick kenne Busfahrer die sagen mir unisono nur im Citaro mit dem exzellenten Sitz und Gestaltung des Cockpits würde man weder Rückenschmerzen noch andere Leiden bekommen).
Should sbs transit purchase this bendy for service 24 to Changi Airport?
Ich will auch mal gerne so ein Gelenkbus fahren.

Die haltestelle die ihr seht wo der bus haelt ist ludwigshafen ebertpark sie wird ausser zu veranstaltungen seit 2005 im linienbetrieb nicht mehr angefahren

You are prostituting your otherwise prestige brand. People associate Benz with the middle classes, luxury, upper management.... not public transport. You are losing value.
It would have been better for you to create a different brand for the buses and just say that brand is owned by Benz.
What are you saying?These are premium buses,compared to other brands and they aren't losing value.
