5 years ago we were all complaining you were underrated but everything is so perfect for you now lol I guess God's time is the best
African Child life is all about being persistent and being patient. No one situation stay the same so big up you self and believe in ya self. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
In deed this guy is soo talented..
I agree.
Much love from South Africa.
Then underrated, now overrated 🤦♂️
@@fabianobus553 nah. Still underrated. You will understand when he has retired.
Who’s here in 2024 ??? It’s been a Long time coming for the Greatest African Artist of all Time
I am here 2024
Am here bruh..
Ayyyyye he da GOAT!!!!
I am here nd where are you from ?
I listen to this song daily, reminds me of my boyhood life 💯
Some of us have been rolling with this man forever!
You can say that again sis, been a die hard fan since 2012🙌🏾🙌🏾
@@tamyhart3958 same here !!🤝🏾🤝🏾🤝🏾
Like!!!
i swear !
Say it baby. Me too since 2013 when most of them folks dissed him and compared him to none. Here is now African Giant.
I had to watch & listen to all of BURNA BOY's songs from the first one DON GORGON
Indeed HARD WORK PAYS 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
THE AFRICAN GIANT
Burna is proof that hard work pays off👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
And consistency...much luv
U can say that again
Lmao FR!!!!
This man Damini is so versatile... This quality sets him apart!
8 Years later and THIS IS STILL MY FAVOURITE BURNA RECORD.
i just tire, still in my Top 5.
Honestly
Burna boy can speak patois, slang, yoruba, & english all in one track
Patois and 'slang' are not languages
Doctor Black who said they were????
that is... too talented
He can also speak his native language
you can classify jamaican patois or trini creole as languages. it's weird how it's 1 sided, caribbeans can understand yanks and brits easy, but them need a little more time to adjust their ears and even so....eh. sometimes their ears are just too white lol. point being if "language" is defined by mutual intelligibility then...patois at least is a border case
Am I the only one that thinks this song is a masterpiece and a work of genius?
I remember when my friends would laugh at me for vibing to this track
Whose laughing now biaches 😁😁😁
since high school and forever , this will be my favorite Burna song
I know right
❤❤ yeah
Who is here after the Grammy win to withness this talent again. ?
Me
Imagine putting in that kind of money in the production of a top quality video with diverse scenes, costumes, locations, etc only to have less than 2mil views in 8yrs??
C'mon can we just give Burna his Jamaican citizenship, big up yuhself fam 🇯🇲👍🏽
Real jamaican🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
True Confessionzz given him so much? Uh yeah no.
@True Confessionzz He Is..
We all are.. by "we", I mean "Us" Africans... Every where you go in the World, the African Diaspora support Jamaican products and artists, with unconditional love.. some do because they know History.. . Some others do because people like Burna Boy done show dem how much Africa and Jamaica is family..
Can you honestly say Jamaicans do the same around the world ??
Dead ass
@@menaceclan You’re very wise! Keep shining your light.
This is 2021 and Burna went from underrated and unappreciated to African Giant 🥂👌🏼

It's 2023 and I'm still amazed at this song like woah 😨 how did he flip so quick and switch up in the middle of the song? What a master at what he does. Nigerian industry couldn't stop his shine. Now he shines too bright and they had to put the blind on. This guy is music!!! He needs to be studied.
Back when only the realest one knew burna boy
Burna Boy is Nigeria's A$AP Mob all by himself, he's amazing!
u are right, his style and sway is like A$AP
kelvin sarpong so true!
he reminds me of Shabba ranks
Happy Birthday Burna Boy 🎁🎂🎊🍾‼️
7 years and I can't get enough of this song...Burna is a beast... What a quality video by the way,Damn!!!
Even wizkid knows that Burna is way more talented.
That d-d-d-d-d-don G-g-g-g-g-gorgon is a mouthful.
Hahaaa
@Don Riller you do know that Jamaican patois is a product of African accents blending together with English in the islands during the colonial era. There's a reason why pidgin English (a varied form of English spoken in Nigeria) sounds similar to Jamaican patois as the slaves and their descendants share similar origins and ancestry with West Africans. In simple terms, learn you history big man
@Don Riller stick to what? to fit in.. I like how he is exceptional, he is versatile
@Don Riller I am Jamaican living in Jamaica. The issue is not about anyone using the sound to create its the lack of acknowledgment from our Afican brothers and sisters when they get success with the Jamaican sound and style. When the Fugees used our Sound etc to rise to fame they acknowledged Jamaica even brought in Jamaican Artist on their performances and spoke of Jamaica's Huge Contribution to the 🌎 Musically Sports Dance moves etc. What we are seeing is the certain ppl trying to go around the Obvious Facts that the recent international success of the African Artist like Burna Wizkid Tekno Runtown kojo funds Shatta is due to fusing their Afro beat sound with Heavy Baseline from Jamaican dancehall Music which all began with the young African youths hanging out and creating with the young Jamaicans youths in London. I know this bcuz I live both places Kingston and London. All the youths in UK speak Jamaican Patois so it's silly and quiet selfish of the African fans to deny Jamaica when success comes by saying but aren't we all Africans that's beside the point. That's the same as when whites steal Black land artifacts etc the excuse is Well aren't we all originally from Africa. We as a ppl must Respect each other's creativity and give credit where it due that's the only way forward
Burna Boy was hot back then. One of my favorites and I’m here again today Saturday July 8th,2023 to enjoy this. Much love from Ghana 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
December 2020 anyone?? Burna is pure talent 💯
Bruh lost count of how many hits this nigga is on ... 2022 and am here !!!!!
It's crazy, this guy has been around so long but a lot of us are jus now learning about him because of his new music. I can see he loves and rates the Jamaican culture. Respect to Burna 🇯🇲🇯🇲
debrak04 I first heard of him on an Afro House song and he seemed smooth on it maybe 9 years ago cant find the video.
That's cus he grew up in the UK. Huge carib influence there too. Naija people slept on him for a looong time but I love carib music and culture so I loved him all this time
I bet you didnt know that Afro Jamaicans are Nigerians and Ghanaians that were kidnappedand exported to the Caribbean during the slave trade. Nice to meet you sister
@@Tatianarain he didn't grow up in UK. He was in UK from 2009 to 2011 in the university of Sussex for his university. He returned afterwards. He has spent all his life in Nigeria.
He rates Jamaican culture, yes! And his stay in UK influenced his Jamaican culture. But to say he grew up there would be a falsehood.
@@djiboutidjango3196 naw he used to leave and study in the UK, committed a crime and got deported back to Nigeria.
This song proves this man,...is built for the business.rate di style bredda.🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
A lot❤❤❤..!
I was really ignorant. Heard all these songs (+ Like to party) while growing up thinking it was a Jamaican artist collab. USA. Not knowing its our African Giant, King Burna vibing liking crazy. Really, persistance is the key. God's time.
God's timing is always the best, this was a hit way back but was damn underrated, still a hit though 2021🇰🇪🦅✅
When he said didaididnadandididnanga I felt that right in my soul
looool
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I guess it's my best time to comment ❤
Welcome to 2024
allot of people quit at the top or stop being good after they as met it or just give up before they met it
but burna allready started at the top and he has not left it yet and probably never will
I dont see no jamaican artist bringback their craft and style in a international way and Burna Boy is doing it respect i see you have alot of jamaican influence in u
The jamaican influence 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🔥🔥🔥
We the same people ❤
watching you grow has been an amazing journey.
If you didn’t appreciate burna with this haircut, you don’t deserve him with his dreads now
Burna was so underrated back in the days
For those who were on the burna boy flex from day, this is bread and butter. Bigman
But you gotta give props to the producer. Producers seldom get the praise they deserve.
Mixing *Caribbean* dialect with his *Yoruba* is just Genius
Yeah specifically Patois. It's the Creole language spoken in Jamaica.
It's not a dialect but a full language spoken on a continuum with English
A lot of his dialect is actually Nigerian Pidgin, Nigerian Pidgin and Patois have many similarities...
@@dugebuwemboin this song ,he is clearly using Jamaican patois in compass with the Dancehall beat in the beat switch . Patois and Pidgin are similar but Burna uses a lot of Patois
@@tandekabottoman9386 Burna uses some patois but a lot of pidgin! Burna Boy is Nigerian so he is more versed in pidigin!
Seriously I wonder the year this song dropped that it didn't win award of the song of the year, coz this is classic, I played this song like a thousand times in a day, burns all songs are hits

I've been a Burna Boy believer from day 1
I never doubted his artistry and success.
When the first songs of an artist is still your favourite!!.
After I saw him in champions league final I knew this is it. Congratulations Burna, you made it to the African history
THIS GUY IS INSPIRED BY MY NATIVE DANCEHALL MUSIC , HE SHOULD COME TO JAMAICA
Come to do what in Jamaica. Have u ever thought of going to Nigeria
V Ugo Why does everthing have to be beliigerent with moronic idoit failures like you. The person appreciates the music and would like to see him in Jamaica and your moronic arse wants to turn it to fight because of your inferiority complex and insecurities. Cretin!
Oyaator Bhoy u didn't need to use those words but since u did. Na God go punish ur papa n ur mama. Having said that. I live in uk n many jamo are ignorant like u about Africa. They claim they've been taught about Africa being the root. But if u ask them to visit then they become interested n ridiculous. For economic reason I'd rather travel to naija or any African countries. Usually we go to our parents house for visit not the other way. Fool
V Ugo
You are a complete idiot. What is with all this rambling? Fool, you need to be deported.
Oyaator Bhoy u wish. But bad belle is allowed fool

It definitely is, give them their credit. We all influence each other in different ways.

I neva been to Jamaica... Never had a Jamaican friend.. and yet, somehow, I am drown to Jamaican music, history, Culture, women, etc..
