    Some plays I'd like to better understand:
    I notice many players opening with Axs mid position even with 20/30 BB left, why do you want to do that?
    Mulder limping medium pockets (9s-10s) from mid position, is it a good way of playing them?
    Thanks for any clever reply

    • @TheArchiveOfWonder
      @TheArchiveOfWonder Před 4 lety

      Most of the time AXs from mid position will have a big enough advantage to try and steal blinds with. If you don't open some hands that you aren't willing to go all in with you will lose too much money to blinds. Limping pocket pairs is a more complicated strategy, sometimes it pays off big other times it loses you the hand.

    • @TheArchiveOfWonder
      @TheArchiveOfWonder Před 4 lety +9

      @@NickPiombino An ace is only dealt once every 13 cards. If you have one in your hand, it comes more like 1 in 17. If you are up against 4 random hands, A5ss is very very likely to be the best of the 5 hands. And if you raise and even get folds 50 percent of the time, it would almost immediately be a profitable play, let alone all the times you outflop or outplay them. I don't need to prove anything to you, but if you are at all intelligent you will comprehend what I just told you.

    39:00. ICM: Shoving Ak45bb vs UTG open(big stack) vs Utg+1 Flat call (Big stack) isnt an ICM mistake? Winning you go from 45 to 51bb but losing (or flipping) u go broke with a lot of shorter stacks still in the game...

    • @veradux5580
      @veradux5580 Před 4 lety

      Squeeze folding AKo in this particular spot will get you wrecked at high stakes as they will rejam stuff like TT/AQ vs your squeeze. No doubt you probably want to squeeze AQo from BB at a high frequency and occasionally AJ

      it’s a no brainer all in. when the choices are call pre or shove it’s always shove especially with how wide the two ranges are. this is especially true in the BB where you lose the most money compared to any other position. and there’s such insane icm pressure on both futti and e77 that they both have to fold JJ here , so we print money with our shove

      No mistake. No information ( cause Mustapha know who is Charlie about 5 year and he know his play).
      Not reason raise by Kanit because:
      if Charlie have "Кx" = it's split.
      If Charlie have "Bluff" = it's fold by Charlie.
      if Charlie have "99" = Mustapha would have 8bb stack for one more all-in. (if just call by Mustapha)
      if Charlie have "9x" = Charlie would't raise on river because not reason.
      Mustapha could have "К" = Charlie loose
      and if Mustapha donk "Bluff" on river = he fold after raise by Charlie.
      Think deeper guys. GL :)
