Thanks for the idea!!! I do morning Chakra card pulls, and I want to incorporate it into my journal... I just didn't have a composition in mind. I just knew I wanted to do monochromatic works for each day. Like you said, "even though you know it'll be ugly, ya gotta put it down." My OCD can get the best of me sometimes. Over the last year, I had to learn to be okay with unfinished work, like an empty flower petal, or not having an evenness. That's a major therapeutic work in itself. But I learned, I can choose to be okay with it, not allowing myself to lose power over it. Power struggles with ourselves can be counterproductive sometimes.
Total 60s/70s vibe I'm feeling! I love it!!!❤. Reminds me especially of the art on Tom Tom Club's LP!!! (Of course I don't know if it'll change as you continue, but through the orange, that's the vibe I'm getting!!!
Wow, absolutely gorgeous project! I love everything about it, the way you approached it, the colours, the patterns. I’m new to your channel but will definitely subscribe and have a look around! Thanks for the inspiration!
WOW! This is insanely amazing!!! How long did you wait to let the paper dry after the initial rainbow colors went on? Are you going to do the opposite side too? You have no idea how inspirational this is! I've been in such an art rut lately where I desperately want to paint something, but nothing works out or sounds good. This is perfect and I have an accordion from Etchr too that would be perfect. THANK YOU!!!!! ❤❤
It was dry within an hour but I took a break so I left it overnight. I’m going to do the other side but I want to switch it up somehow. Please tag me on IG if you have it when you’re finished!!
“ I use the whole rainbow and I will never change” Perfect, just perfect! I relate.
