I worked at a Speedex Tractor plant in Ravenna, Ohio in the spring of 1970.
I bet that was pretty awesome. What models did you work on?
I know that I have some Speedex fliers from 1970 but cannot get to them at present. I had hip replacement surgery one week ago and am limited to what I can do and where I can go. I lived in that area of Ohio for about six years.@@t-roys
I can’t believe you got another Speedex! I’ve been looking for another one and I keep running into the one you’re selling on marketplace. You are so lucky!
Well I am done with those after this one. If I get another one my wife is going to lose it 😅. I think there is a 1430 in Crockett for sale.
Nice
Thanks for watching
just picked up a speedex not sure what yr model is a 3640 I believe.
I am not familiar with that model but i am still learning myself. Good luck with yours 👍
Is that front cargo hold a factory part or just a good idea?
I believe it is a factory part. I have seen a few of these on different tractors. Some people put weights on them.
Probably doesn't have any compression
That may be the case. I hope not I will have to check that out.
Im working on a 1630 do you know where i can get a wiring diagram? Does it have a regulator and a alternator? Im sure it does but i haven't took it apart that much!
I do not believe they have an alternator. There is a group on Facebook for Speedex tractors that are pretty knowledgeable. They should be able to help
@t-roys thanks I subscribed to the group I will ask see if they know, I found the alternator charging system it's on the flywheel...now I need to know if there's a regulator or silinoid!
