Sadly praising a mere man in this way is idolatry, one of God's commandments NOT to do (have no other Gods/idols before ME) Exodus 20:3.
Since LDS don't study the Bible routinely, they wouldn't know this 😔.

You should look more into what members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints actually study and actually believe. Being grateful for the efforts of someone to bring us to a greater knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ is far from idolatry. Without prophets we would know nothing of Christ. That includes everything you and I know about Jesus Christ through studying the holy Bible. The Bible is simply the testimony of prophets that we revere and appreciate--the same goes for modern day prophets in the restored Church of Jesus Christ.
