@@Tweedlededumdum No he wasn't always sad. St John was a joyful person who filled those around him with love and peace. He only became sadden when he lost his beloved son and anyone who has lost a child will know how it feels. I have a son and could not even imagine anything happening to him. I feel bad for what happened to St John's child. It should not have happened but bc of the neglect of others whom he entrusted his son's care to his son was tragically taken from him. Rip to both.😢

He is missed! May he rest in peace. Depression is real! It's a dark, lonely place. If you know someone who suffers with Depression, reach out, encourage him/her to seek help...give him/her all the love you can...unselfishly & truly.
I suffered with depression on and off and had to take medication for it but my faith help me through it. God is aware of our pain. I use my own experiences to show people this. One night I was so depressed I cried out to God and around one o'clock in the morn the Holy Spirit came swooshing down in my room with the noise of wings which awakened me. Then red glows lit up one side of my room. I felt peace and joy come forth from these lights. Then they were gone just like that. I know what I'm saying may sound strange and delusional to some but I hope the one person who really needs to read this will read it and get hope from it.☺
His son died a month after this was uploaded. Rest in peace KSJ.
Growing up, The Young and the Restless was my FAVORITE soap cause it featured The Winters (Malcom, Olivia, Neil, and Drucilla)!!! I pray for his family both at home and on Y&R🙏🙏🙏 #RIPKristoffStJohn

In this interview Kristoff seemed very happy this video was published Oct 12 2014, on Nov. same year his son died and his life changed forever. Tomorrow we will see you for the last time at Y&R as CBS announcement, we will miss you , rest in peace.

It's so tragic to loose such a good man we didn't know one another but by watching him every day you felt a connection you just knew he was a true loving kind soul!
He was struggling with the lost of his son he was trying to deal with a broken heart....

I loved Kristoff St John and Shemar Moore as brothers. The two really were good together. I saw a clip of Shemar referring to Kristoff: I don't have words for this, I just lost my brother. And he was in tears. RIP Kristoff.

It made me cry when you guested on YandR for the tribute to Kristoff after his passing ! It was top notch reality TV that day, not scripted soap opera.

Kristoff in somewhat happier times. I just looked it up and his son took his own life just 1 month later.
It's so sad but I know that if something happened to one of my children, I just don't know how I would go on.
I hope that their spirits are resting together now.
