The music is irritating to me but the tutorial is pure joy! What a dichotomy! 😂
Thank you! I have stopped using music in my Tutorials for over a year now. You are right. It was annoying!!
My god lady, do you know no limits!? I have a bachelor degree in art and I am having much more fun right here with you.
😘💓💓💓💓💓
Canadians are fantastic youtubers. Thanks for the great tutorials. These rocks are beautiful.
Rachel, you take a ROCK and make it a TREASURE!!! Thank you for opening my eyes.
Beautiful 😍 I've decided I'm gonna watch all your fabulous videos from the 1st to last (bottom to top) 😊 don't want to miss any xx
Thank you!!!❤️
This is unbelievablely realistic looking! Wow! 😲 Amazing!
Rachel, I love your tutorials! Beautiful stones!
YOU are soooo SWEET , TALENTED, and have a calming voice. So happy to find you! What an awesome teacher!
Thanks for the inspiration! The clear coat really does make it look beautiful.
So cool! First impression was that it was a real jewel you had applied to your stone! Wonderful tutorial! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, Rachel, for your videos. You both amaze and inspire me! Your work is beautiful!!!
Thank you so much for another great tutorial. You are so generous sharing your wonderful talent.
It's amazing how just adding that small bit of highlight makes the "jewel" come alive. I kept looking at the dull red thinking adding a smidgen of white wasn't going to make it shine like the turquoise "stone" did...not the first time I've been wrong. So beautiful💞
Thank you sooooo much for sharing Rachel. Your work is amazing and your tutorial was easy to follow and full of great tips!!!
Outstanding!, I'm loving your videos very much and getting wonderful ideas for my mandalas. Thank you Rachel.
Beautiful, once again. Thank you.
Awesome technique!! I can’t wait to try this.
Wow amazing and it does look like a real jewel!
I love your art so much. I just introduced my mom to your art and you now have two people who love you. I can hardly wait till my yearly visit to TN (I'm in WA) because we already have projects planned thanks to you! I can't wait till then, however, so I'm going to reworked my unicorn and see what comes of it. Cheryl's unicorn a la Rachel!
In love with this video and artwork, you do an amazing tutorial and I can't wait to try this and the dragon eyes ❤ just gorgeous! Thank you thank you for sharing your talent and creativeness 😄

Woah it looks so real, awesome!
Fantastic tutorials!!!!!
I loooove this, wow. You explain everything so well.
Hi Rachel You are such an inspiration I have made a jewel rock too.
Thanks so much for sharing these techniques! I paint rocks and hide them around our middle school area. I've never painted animals or eyes, I am used to oils and landscape painting, so your videos have helped make all the little boys and girls who now also find dragon eyes and jewel stones, very happy!! Thanks a bunch! It's a kinda magic!
Thank you! Made me smile😊😘❤❤❤❤
Ok, I've watched 10 tutorials of yours. You're brilliant!
Thank you so much ❤️
I am so ready to try this. Now that I have seen how it is done was wonderful to watch you work. Love your voice! It helps when watching. Tutorials. That one like the voice. :)
I love this stone too. I’ve watched her turtorial on using resin, some stones she uses the resin on the stones before painting them in this turtorial, the stone doesn’t look shiny except on the actual stone. I’m wondering what it would look like if the entire stone was covered with resin and then painted and then had a final coat of spray resin? Would you be so kind to share your experience. I’m going to attempt this ! But, it’s obvious, that it’s not easy for a beginner. But, it’s so pretty and worth the try.
Beautiful 🤩
Love your tutorials! Hope you keep making them. And I get a kick out of your crooked liner brush... LOL
Linda Ring haha yes it's a goofy looking brush!😅 I hope to make more tutorials soon!
Fantastic!!! If only I could paint a straight line then I would be in business. My husband made heaps of circles on acrylic paper so I can practice painting straight lines. I finished the first page. ummm might take me a few years to master this. In the meantime thank you so much for sharing you are amazing
WOW! Another work of art. Watched 3 of your tutorials so far this eve and you make it look so easy and fun. Liked and subscribed. Can't wait to try this one :)

Many greetings from Greece 🌞 Pebble painting by Rania Papadatou
I really enjoyed your video. I'm in love with your work, it's so beautiful :)
So iam I beautiful work she does. Luv it all
So beautiful..
Having a great time watching your videos today. Hey have you ever tried the "floated color" method of shading and highlighting? They used to teach it in tole painting classes in the 80s. You hardly see it anymore. So fast! If you haven't heard of it...You base in with the medium color...Shade the dark side...then highlight the light side. You use a flat or a rose brush, wet it with water or extender. Blot brush on paper towel until the shine is gone. Dip the edge in the dark paint, go to the pallet and brush a small... About 1 inch line with your brush flat, on the same line 3 or 4 times until the paint graduates from full paint on one side, and clear on the other. I hope I said it right. I'm sure there is probably a video about it if interested. Your work is just lovely. Thank you for taking your time and posting these videos. I'm going to have to go to Sally's to see if they have any nail dotters!
Your lines, you make it look so easy, your steady
Lindisssimo!!!!❤👏👏👏
Y you are so amazing
Wow!!
Bravo Madame c est super beau j aime trop votre travail😘
I just had a go at a couple of these , and now that i've varnished it I wish I had done one of them with the varnish on the jewel only , just to see what difference it makes ..mine turned out not bad...
Hi Rachel, I love this. I've always been scared to paint anything other than "cartooney" things. Since I found your wonderfully instructive videos, I've made the peacock feather, the mushroom fairy house, your sweet starfish, the ship anchor and I even tried your zentangle dog paw. :-) This one, however is the biggest challenge so far. I did two today, one in reds and the next in purple. I'm going to keep trying until I'm happy that it looks the way I really want it to. Practice makes perfect, right?
🥰💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
Beautiful your work, but what sprey did you use?
Really pretty! I like how you don't act perfect.
Really looks 3 D 😊
Parabéns mundo lindo! O da criatividade.
Thanks a lot. ❤😊
😲 ~ WOW ~ WHAT ~ I THOUGHT THAT WAS A REAL JEWEL!! SO 😎
You are amazing! Do you prime all of your rocks before painting?
beautiful! do you rinse your fuzzy brushes after you blended your paints and do you use the same one for the different colors?
Love it 😍 what spray do you use?
Meu nome tb é Raquel. Amei os seus trabalhos e gostaria de saber se a materia prima que voce utiliza são pedras artificiais pois são tão redondas e perfeitas. Bjos
😍😍😍😍😍
Hi, I love your work! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I want to know why you wouldn’t paint the entire rock white first like a canvas? I just did that to a bunch of rocks before finding your videos.
I personally like to keep as much of the natural background of the stone as possible😁 depending on what I'm painting🥰
I love your work, is wonderful!! Where are you buy your blended brushes?
Thank you! I just use old brushes that the bristles are bushy. The bushier the better for blending or you can use sponges for blending as well.
Where is the list of paint colors and the favorite Spun Gold paint, I can’t find. Can someone help?
I have posted the photo on your FB page
What is this spray for shining ?
When at is the spray you used at the end? Your work is so inspiring.
What...
please let us know what you are using for fiinel finishing to get shiny look I like it very much it's beautiful- Thanks
Please take a look at my fine lining brush tutorial as well as my resin tutorial!! All here on my CZcams channel😊
It looked beautiful sprayed have you resined any?
This is one of my older tutorials I have been using resin for quite some time now 😁
I also have a resin tutorial for my rocks called "Rockin" the resin if you want to take a look.
Is there a tutorial on the hummingbird and daisies?
No not at this time 😭
Where do you get your rocks?
All along lake superior shorelines😊 some up to 7 hours drive for me.
Love learning the techniques for water drops and creating light ♥️ Didn’t you have a video of a rock with a frog on it?
No not yet 😢 hoping to find the time to make a few cool ones!!
I go on my scooter every day I can searching for rocks ...have t got my paints yet!
I found you
