Atlanta DJ has thousands of equipment stolen from storage facility he says isn't as safe as promised

Surveillance video shows suspects inside Extra Space Storage on Bishop Street. A local DJ is among victims who said thousands of dollars of belongings were stolen.

No that storage unit went down once it was sold to extra space storage. Urine in jars sitting in the hallway, unkept. I moved out because I just couldn’t risk the safety.

That's actually a great idea! Hope these businesses take the extra steps to get it done, but based on the fact "they noticed no lock so put a lock on it", makes me really wonder what's what.

Take who ever own business to small claims court and put a petition in against who own storage unit.

This is why I don’t use those kind of things because their insurance if you don’t buy extra insurance whenever you use storage units this is the problem that you’re gonna get into. I understand why people don’t wanna keep certain things at their house. I can completely understand that, but this is why you have to pay for extra insurance if you’re gonna keep stuff whether in your home or in another facility that’s not in your home And I feel bad for the gentleman. I feel like the company should pay him for that because that’s irresponsible they didn’t care and he’s absolutely right if you know if they noticed that there was no lock on the storage unit and there was there was supposed to be items in there. He should’ve been informed immediately and they are responsible because they didn’t take the proper security measures to allow people as walk in and take that, look how much stuff they were able to carry and get away with it
