    I need hallmark to make christmas movies for singles and how amazing happy they are with themselves instead of continuously showing people seeking love... I love me and enjoy my christmas with me until I find the love

    • @vlo4829
      @vlo4829 Před 4 lety +13

      Most people do want to be loved and don't want to be alone though. The thing about "happy singles" is that they're "happy" until they're not and pretty much all of them get to the "not happy" part (often while they're telling everyone else they're satisfied, like Loni always did). That's just being REAL. The happy single is a bigger fantasy than the cheese already on the Hallmark channel.

    • @KeylaStarPacheco
      @KeylaStarPacheco Před 4 lety +7

      V Love-Williams not having a partner doesn’t make you alone. People can still be single and happy spending christmas with their FAMILIES. The problem is people keep looking for someone to MAKE them happy. And these movies kind of perpetuate the idea that u need that partner to achieve that happiness

    • @vlo4829
      @vlo4829 Před 4 lety +1

      @Confused Millenial: Christmas doesn't last forever. After spending a happy Christmas with your family, you are ALONE again. People look for partners because it makes them happy to be with other people, not because they expect the other person to make them happy. It's basic biology, as well. Humans are animals that seek mates and companionship in their mates. You have this silly idea that if we stop showing happy families and just show happy singles that people will actually be happy and single. They won't. Your name suits you well. The "everything is a social construct" that they teach young people is false. Re-education doesn't solve all problems. It usually exacerbates them (and we see that with modern women already who talk up being single and hate themselves and often start resenting men and people who are happy).

    • @sherryan1
      @sherryan1 Před 4 lety +1

      Confused Millenial even spending christmas by yourself. Being able to enjoy your own company. Being completely and utterly fulfilled by yourself. Again, its always nice to have the right partner beside you to share life with buy being single is not a lonely thing

    • @vlo4829
      @vlo4829 Před 4 lety +1

      @sherry: Most people enjoy their own company, but when you're single, you have to be enjoying your own company ALL the time to avoid loneliness. To say "spending Christmas by yourself" is ignoring the other 300-364 days you'll have to spend by yourself. Pretty much everyone fails at that eventually. It's not something I'd wish on anyone, but it's reality.

    I’m sorry but Hallmark isn’t representing all, are they going to ignore Hallmark removed the LGBT commercial? I guess since Tamera has a movie with them, they gotta watch out.
    Also the plots have always been the same, some lady that is busy in Christmas and she has to go to some random town and all the sudden finds love.

      There was a time blacks had and still have to make their own stuff that POSITIVELY ... positively reflect them and their culture. Maybe it’s time the lgbt does the same
