The one who’s passing it to him most of the time is an all time great point guard, Chris Paul or CP3. Worth a video to check him out. Complete beast point guard.
should also look into his twin brother, Cliff Paul.
Ron Ponce Next video “british boy reacts to Cliff Paul”😂😂😂
Blake Griffin plays on the Pistons now but was injured most of this year. He just came off of arguably his best season last year.
He has crazy’s hops because he has insane lower body strength. Dude has tree trunks for legs.
Also, on top of being a stud basketball player, Blake is also funny and super down to earth. Great dude.
also left his wife and kid to date a supermodel. what a great dude.
@@musicmixesmore3049 If the relationship was over the relationship was over.
Vincent A He’s also known to be an asshole to people when he lived in LA. He has a good sense of humor but “down to earth” is a bit much.
Yeah, if you wanna get up, you gotta have a lot of lower body strength and core strength. Weight lifting and plyometrics are good for that.

Still posting this, hope you see it one day :
Now that you seem to understand a little more what's happening on the court, you could use basketball-reference.com to get familiar with stats, it's a very complete tool, which you will at first glance use only to see overall career of a specific player, but you could later on enter in-deep on the tool, to see every single detail game-by-game, play-by-play etc, for a huge example of how it can show you something you can't see on highlights reel, you could first take a look on Giannis' page, and you'll witness why we call him a monster : he NEVER stopped progressing in every category since his arival on the league 7 years ago and we still don't know where it'll stop. You could also get mind-blown looking at
LeBron's page seeing that we still don't know where his statistical prime is, since he seems to be in his prime for 16 years now etc. With this tool you'll get little by little familiar with stats
Dream came true lol.
Giannis monster in nba. But in fiba basketball he's nothing special
Giedrius Mileris bruh he was a teenager when he played in Europe, and he’s not gonna risk injuring himself going all out in international play when they won’t win anyways. FIBA play really isn’t that big a deal for the big NBA players
It’s not a lavish luka reaction if he doesn’t talk about his audio 😂😂😂
I dont think he realizes we can just turn him down if hes too loud
Nobody
Luka every video: I need to eventually fix my audio
b b 😂😂
You're officially a youtuber when people start leaving comments like this 😂
Alot of those passes thrown to him came from Chris Paul. You should react to his career plays. Great vid mate
A few years back, the Clippers had a completely different team than they do now. They had great passing guards like Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford and some of the best dunkers in the game in DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin. They were known for all of the alley-oops they had from the guards to Griffin and Jordan, and eventually got the nickname “Lob City”. That team and the early 2010’s Thunder team (Westbrook, KD, Harden, all young at the time) are two of the biggest “what-if” stories in NBA history, because they split up before they reached their full potential. You should check them out Luka!
When Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan we’re on the clippers they were known as the lob city offense and Chris Paul would just run pick and roll and throw up alley opps to Blake and DeAndre they probably have some of the best dunks of all time and they were together for about 5 years
They were such a fun team to watch
I miss lob city so much
This video shows how extremely skilled Chris Paul is 🔥🔥
Blake Griffin used to be more of a dunker in the past. More recently he had arguably his best season ever with the pistons, but his play style is much more different. He evolved as the NBA evolved and can shoot the 3 now on a pretty good percentage. He handles the ball much better. Although he isn't as exciting as in the past, he is a better overall player. However, his injuries are catching up to him and I personally think he will retire in the next 2-3 years.
He used to be borderline just a dunker but his game has evolved alot and he can now quite comfortably handle the ball with ease and finesse and shoot from anywhere decently well, he's evolved quite nicely! Also random but he is a cool guy and even does some stand-up comedy from time to time and its actually pretty decent
Look at Manu Ginobili tribute "The Ultimate Competitor" !
Plz do a player reaction on Kemba Walker, he’s a 5ft 11 point guard with insane dribble moves!
If you were wondering Blake is 6,10 251 pounds of pure muscle. He is around 7 % body fat and got 185 pounds on the bench press for 22 reps at the nba combine. He was always so much faster and stronger and could jump so much higher than anyone who guarded him. He is one of the best dunkers one of the best high flyers and one of the strongest players ever. He is one of the greatest contact finisher of all time. His ball handling and passing skills for a power forward were amazing. He was like a guard at 6,10. In the 2015 players he avreaged 25 points 12 rebounds and 7 assists vs the spurs with kawhi, Tim duncan, etc. Also vs rockets with dwight howard and josh smith. In game one of the series vs the rockets Chris Paul was injured and blake played point guard and they won. He also had a very respectable mid range shot especially for a big guy. He even could shoot the 3 and was a above avreaged defender. If you watch 2019 blake he would drill 3s casually. He's a 6x all star dunk contest champ and a rookie of the year. The only thing that has ever slowed him down has been injures.
Pre-injury griffin, deandre jordan and cp3 clippers got the nickname lob city and were one of my favourite teams to watch. They were so entertaining. The combination of griffins and deandres verticals and cp3s vision made lobs a constant.
When Griffin first came into the league he was a decently skilled pf who just happened to be a generational vertical athlete. So people really underated his skill because he was just that insanely athletic, people would say that all he did was all he does is dunk. Which was mostly true, early in his career he was pretty much a zero from anywhere out of the paint. Once Chris Paul came to la , Blake got one the top 5 pg of all time, and started to receive excellent feeds from Paul on a nightly bases. Dunks became almost all his highlights, so people really underated his ball handling, passing ability, and touch around the rim.
In recent years he's been setback by constant injures, and sadly the atheletism is really toned down now but he responded by becoming a really good shooter and elevating just his skills overall. He had his best year of his career last year in Detroit, but sadly due to a knee surgery he missed this season. And honestly it's looking pretty bleak for him since it looks like his body just can't handle 82 games plus playoffs anymore.
You should react to "Team USA top 100 plays" or "best Kawhi Leonard steals from past 5 seasons" great vids to show USA's dominance and a showcase of Kawhi Leonard's defensive ability. Also the "Making the case" series by Clayton Crowley is something that you should checkout where he makes the case for 8 different players for the GOAT conversation.
Yes! I think he would love Team USA because it really puts into perspective how incredible the NBA players are, and even though there are some NBA players that are from different countries so they don't play on Team USA, they really put on an incredible show and dominate at the olympics.
"Making the Case" would make for a good reaction
You took my suggestion!! My favorite player ❤️
Hey Luka, I can tell you enjoyed this video. Blake Griffin used to play with Chris Paul and Deandre Jordan on the Clippers, now he is on the Detroit Pistons and facing some injuries. If you want to see some big dunks, you should check out 'Deandre Jordan BEST Career Plays'. It's only a 5 minute video, but it summarises who he is as a player and it's interesting that he is a 6'11 centre that has pretty much never shot/made a jumpshot in his career but prides himself on grabbing rebounds, protecting the rim, and perfecting the pick and roll two man game with the Chris Paul. He and Blake Griffin were the reason the Clippers were called Lob City. Lastly, an additional incentive to watch that video is the final play is one of the most disgusting dunks you will ever witness, a true murder.
I really would appreciate if you’d read this: It’s not too relevant to this video, but I’ve noticed in past videos that you don’t always look at the scoreboard, for example some clutch shots you don’t realize are to win the game. Also, if it’s in a playoff game, it obviously will have more significance, and the scoreboard will almost always tell you the conference, (if it says the Finals then it’s obviously no conference) the exact round, and the exact game. All series go to 7 games as well, so a clutch shot in game 7 will have much more significance than a clutch shot in game 1.
Blake Griffin is now on the Pistons since early 2018. When he is playing, he barely uses that much athleticism anymore due to injuries/age, but he has really developed his game since. He’s a solid passer/playmaker now and now has added a three-point shot to his game. His big three with Chris Paul and Deandre Jordan on the Clipper was known as ‘Lob City’ because of all the insane dunks and oops they’d get together.
In his early years he was mainly known for his dunks. That clippers team was called Lob city for a reason. But in the last few years his playmaking and shooting has improved massively and he doesn't do flashy dunks as often as he used to
This is old Blake with the Clippers.Injuries have forced him to change his game quite a bit but hes still a really good player. You should react to highlights from his more recent seasons with the Pistons.
He was only born in 1989, but he is a pure beast!!!
“Is dunking what he’s known for?” Yes, he came into the league as one of the best dunkers
Pau gasol was an all star that helped kobe win 2 championships, blake dunked on him twice unfortunately
You should react to Lonzo Ball high school senior highlight tape! Dude is COLD. Dunks, passes, and everything
Back then he was only known to dunk.Which is why it is crazy to see how his game has developed.I suggest, you now react to his recent highlights. He has now got the full package.
You should react to my d1 story by jimmy highroller.
Yes
That was my comment. Glad you seen it. And glad to see you actually doing it.
Yep they put mic’s close to the rim on the backboard so you can hear the powerful dunks and swish’s of the 3’s, they also aim directionally mic’s at the court floor so you can hear the sneakers squeaking on the court
If you notice defenders tend to get out of the way when he goes up to dunk. It's because he's so strong and athletic and dunks so hard they don't want to get their hand broken trying to stop him. He's a beast for sure.
Great vids luka !!
Yeah they have mics placed all around the basket, thats why you hear swishes on some shots or the rattling of the rim and occasionally you can also hear the players when they're nearby
Blake Griffin back then, and still is, was known for his dunking, but now he’s been evolving his game and becoming more of an all around player. You should react to some recent highlights of him not just dunking. He also is a great person off the court.
Lavish Luka and asking if the sound is too high at the beginning of the video. Name a more iconic duo.
Another dunker you'll probably like is Shawn Kemp. He was very similar to Blake Griffin with even more power. He played for the Seattle Supersonics (now the Oklahoma City Thunder) in the 90s.
btw when blake was playing with the clippers they were called lob city cuz they were doing crazy alley oops which is someone throwing the ball in the air and someone else dunking it
As the NBA changed, so did Blake. He’s been slowly adjusting his game over the years to include more ball handling and shooting so he doesn’t have to rely on athleticism in his older years.
Luka, can you Please either recat to joe Johnson, a legend who just retired a few years ago, or a rising star in Zach Lavine? Joe is one of the greatest 1v1 players, and Zach is someone you have to guard or else he will give you a bucket. House of highlights has great videos for both.
The dunks seem loud because the broadcast company has microphones set up around the hoop to catch more noise and enhance the experience when watching a game at home. There’s an entire video on that subject by Vox called something along the lines of “Why sports games sound better in your living room”
Yes, finally more individual players
This is more than likely the best dunks of Blake’s you’ll get. He’s not the same players, even though I personally think he’s better now. After all his injuries and surgeries to his knee he developed a great jump shot and can spread the floor now. He’s actually a great passer as well now being the general in Detroit 2 seasons ago before he sat out this season after another surgery.
There is a microphone under the rim that is installed between the backboard and the backboard padding
Blake’s game has evolved quite a bit over the years. He can shoot 3’s now. Good ball handling and passing. He could have been way better if it weren’t for his constantly getting injured. Now he’s stuck in Detroit. Injured again. Got paid though. 👍🏽
Blake Griffin is actually a pretty decent stand-up comedian as well.
Most teams, if not all, put a mic next to the rim so you can better hear the dunks and swishes
Blake was always known for his flashy powerful dunks but over the last 3-4 seasons, he's lost a lot of athletism which has actually made him an all around better player as it forced him to work on other aspects such as shooting, e.g. last year was his best year averaging 25 points
Law of physics states that gravity affects all objects the same. "Flight time" is an illusion. It is dependent only on how high you jump.
youve got the best passer in the NBA in CHRIS PAUL together with 2 of the best IN-GAME DUNKERS in the league in BLAKE GRIFFIN and DeADRE JORDAN ... the birth of LA CLIPPERS "LOB CITY" ERA.
If you jump high and you are explosive enough you can make it seem like you hang in the air. Flight time/ hang time is like an optical illusion.
For context, Blake Griffin’s best dunks are all in the past. Unfortunately he suffered several injuries and can’t jump like he used too. He has developed really good ball handling and outside shooting skills and is still considered a good NBA player
14:49 the score😂
Nobody:
Clippers commentator: Oh He OmY!
If you enjoyed this you should react to NBA HYPE DUNKS (LOUDEST CROWD REACTIONS)
How's this guy not broken the rim yet????
Blake Griffin is actually a good player and an underrated passer but gets overshadowed by his dunking ability
an absolute monster
So the reason they are so loud is because they actually have microphones near the rim so it seems louder
