You know what would be awesome? If you and Moe could make money off the land by maybe building a 2nd small house or cabin, you could rent it out to people that wants escape city life on the weekends or better yet, offer weeks at a time. Moe, that's absolutely wonderful that you have 8 acres! Kayla, with Moe by your side, you two are UNSTOPPABLE!
You are so right the flatest part you have to put inside plumbing electricity. So much goes into clearing land and putting upper a house. You are young you can do it best for raising children. Be safe💝😊
I was born and raised in Philadelphia, and now live in North Carolina for the past 28yrs. I live in the country on two acres of just woods. I have heard things that have scared me, coming out of those woods, but I love it and can't imagine living anywhere else. I went from city girl to country girl, growing my own vegetables. You love it kayla.

I understand you’re scared because you have been through A LOT in such a short amount of time with the c-section and then Covid with pneumonia. A c-section, while a common surgery, is still MAJOR abdominal surgery. You’re looking at it as work. Moe is looking at it like a dream. Very different ways of looking at the same thing but you all deserve great things!! 😊

I was also born and raised in the country. There was no running water until I was about four but we still had a well in the front yard. We still had outdoor toilets until we moved on up into the Country. Running water, indoor toilet, first TV and I loved it. I am so ready to move back so I can plant another garden and raise some chickens. We never appreciate some things until we don't have it anymore. If I had known what I know now, I would have moved back a long time ago.
Listen Mo and Kayla, if you can see it you can achieve it. Go for the dream and make it happen, you'll be glad you did years to come when you sit on your front or back porch looking at your land looking at all you've done to it to make it a nice safe and comfortable place. It’s sometimes a dirt road, no street lights and it takes sometimes 20 minutes or more to get to what you would consider downtown. Not just an opinion a fact I have stay with my grandparents and either side it took 20 to 30 minutes to get to the small downtown. Just within the last 10 years they finally got a Walmart maybe 15 at the max just for a Walmart so understand me when I say I understand where she is coming from because I have been there and done that and I am now in my 50s so she is not lying when she says you’re going to the country you’re going to the country like I said you end up off the main roads that are paved onto dirt roads sometimes sometimes the dirt roads get paved sometimes you get the street lights but most of the time is dirt roads no street lights pitch black dark unless you put something up your self there are houses but they’re not close together and sometimes it’s a whole bunch of family land so it’s a whole bunch of family living out there and every once in a while you may have somebody that’s not family but the majority time is family land that you’re moving to and it is truly out in the country. Not saying out in the country is a bad thing because it is quite often a good thing because like Moe said you’re getting ready to breed that country air which is clean clear air because you’re not in the city and you do like Kayla said see something different every single time you go I spent every summer until I was 15 going to the country and so I can speak on it so I may not be able to but I can speak on it because both sides of my family my maternal and paternal side of the family both have land that’s way out in the country and you’re gonna spend more than just a minute to get downtown and depending on where downtown is and where you are in the country you might have one street light I know the time when I was going down there as a child they only had one movie theater and it only had two screens yeah Piggly Wiggly a Winn-Dixie but a lot of the other stores that you have now you don’t have back then in those days maybe they have it now because I know where my family comes from they do now have more of some of what you would consider big chains like they have a food mart Food Lion now a Walmart they’ve always had a small little JCPenney and then there are just some other things that you’ll find there that you will not find in the city and there are good things and bad things about living in the country but I say overall the good outweighs the bad but that’s my opinion congratulations to Kayla and mow for the baby I think you said cam and your endeavors on building your own home on your own land because there’s nothing like building your first home cherish the time take lots of pictures so that you can look back on it later in life and be like I did the doggone thing so once again congratulations on everything and may you continue to be blessed and highly favored
