Today is finally our baby boys big day! Its his surgery day to get his cochlear implants. If you don't know what these are they a like super hearing aids. Our son was boy with severe to profound hearing loss. He is so profoundly Deaf that the hearing aids don't work on him. Luckily there are these cochlear implants that will allow him to hear. We were so nervous but excited for this day. And we thank all of you for keeping our son in your prayers. We hope this video can help people who were in the same situation as us.

I felt with him. I had a cochlear Implantat surgery as a kid too. Now I‘m 25 & I can tell you guys I can speak 3 languages & hear as well.❤️ It will be a long way for our babyboy Neo but I‘m pretty sure he will make it🤍
Can u tell cochlear implant sideeffect?? Headache migranes, insomnia ,??? Do u get any of these
@@atherunnisa648 There are no side effects. I had surgery 20 years ago (I am now 27 years old). Five years ago I was diagnosed with migraine, but this has nothing to do with hearing, according to doctors.
As a retired surgical nurse I can tell you that the hardest part is over. Babies are remarkably strong. They can recover quickly and Neo will feel better soon. Then so will you. Try to rest.

I don't have children, but when you handed him off to the nurses for surgery, I cried right along with you guys. I cannot imagine what that must have been like for you.

Niko was always smiling and laughing. So when i saw him cry with Crystal, my tears fall down too. I can feel and see how worry and sad they were when Neo start his surgery.
I can't imagine how hard and painful it would have been to wait so long when each minute feels like an hour. I could hardly hold back my tears 🥺

Prayers for Neo. I know exactly how you guys are feeling. My now 5 yrs old had a cochlear implant put in on Dec 4 last yr. We are in Chicago IL. Surgery was great but the results were even better. God please work your miracles the same way you did for Ilena. If you have any questions or anything else you would like to know I can try my best to help out.

I’m literally crying coz I always think that my dad just keeps telling how much respect does a doctor job own but now seeing this man I feel like every parent is keeping their soul (trust ) in our hands ( doctors hands ) and when the operation is success that smile on your face is like a 1000 claps for him

I can't get over how stinkin cute he is! Not to mention he is so calm, and sweet and extremely brave! As are you guys! I think they always try to do surgery super early for little ones since they can't eat and they don't understand why..and don't want to make the parents out to be the "bad guy" for not feeding their baby, especially when they're so upset! But Neo took it like a champ and really enjoyed those bubbles! His smile while looking at them made me smile!
