This type of stuff hit hard. For example: I’m the youngest of my whole family, and it seems like im (or i was) the favourite from my dad. But im the only girl in the sibling role and my dad wanted i think 3 boys? And everytime im with him he says “we were happier before you were born, we were the original family” just to make me rage (as a joke) but i honestly feel bad because i do know that im not the favourite even if my parents tell me such things.

For me I’m the third youngest on mom’s side youngest on dad’s side and my older brother is the fourth youngest/Second youngest and the family always talk about his low grades and how he never takes off his hat and how his curly hair is a mess but never about the good stuff like how he got a 4 in wood-shop and he pretends to not care but I can tell he does care which is why when I spend time with him I try to say something nice like: “Your hats really cool” or “Your the only one in the family with curly hair and it makes you unique” 😔💕
My family never wnater me to exist, the only person there for me was my big brother, and he's still there for me to this day. Love the people around no matter what♥️
