MASSIVE Warlock HEALER Buffs Upcoming! - Preview of NEW Changes! - Neverwinter M26

- Here I cover all the new updates to the Warlock healer that I could discover! Thanks to Carlos for the alert that they are now on the Preview Server! This is pretty huge and well needed buffs for this healer class!
Warlock Healer Changes
- Infernal Barrier: Cost increased to 80 up from 30 and Shield increased to 1,000 up from 450. Added a 50 magnitude heal to it.
- Vampiric Embrace: Damage reduced to 200 magnitude down from 275, Heal increased to 500 magnitude up from 330. Feypact feat will add a heal overtime for 12s of 250 magnitude. Hellpact feat will cause it to create a shield equal to half the amount healed. Cleanse effect removed.
- Revitalize: It will now cleanse the targets healed.
- Soulstorm: It will now also heal nearby allies, including companions
- Soul Siphon: Damage reduced to 600 down from 1,200 but heal increased to 1,500 up from 800. Will now also heal nearby allies including companions.
- Soul Pact: Heal magnitude increased to 800 up from 500 and now can effect up to 9 nearby allies, not including companions.
- Lifepact: Will no longer heal from your Lifespark (inspirit), so you no longer need it to use this ability.

You were right... paladin was in their top priorities, but it's gonna be last to get fixed.
Love these changes I hope they keep it like this. They should give the pally the same magnitude on their shields

Pally has the same magnitude, it just takes 2.5 secs to actually cast it. And they have to be marked
I'm waiting for them to buff warden's bow attacks and utility before paladin buffs at this point 😂. I do appreciate the warlock changes, i don't really play soulweaver but maybe I'll try it out more now

Whoa.😄 Reading the tooltips and putting that into correlation to what it was and felt like, that's masive. 😮 I'm glad they kept the soulweaver's essence of healing. Soulstorm will still be the go-to for stationary fights like p3 gzemnid, tomm, mzc but we now get away with being spread up. Warlock's bargain not consuming inspirit is huge as well - why it was impossible to use it. Can you show what they have done to our miti bubble soul barrier? 😊 Also wonder if they managed to fix the lifemspark (little green floaty ball) from not spawning on platforms or in rooms with entrance walls: entrance mzc, entrance gzemnid, platforms in tomm, mzc, p3 gzemnid and so on. 🤔 They said they would soon in a ticket opened but maybe you could check if they managed to fix it because live it is still bugged. on ps. 😉 Overall we gotta see if that's not a little out of balance in another way now. 🙈 Ty for the updates! 💚✨
Unfortunately, they did not fix the life spark getting stuck. You'll have to use warlocks bargain to summon it to your side at times
@@Aragon- Aww, they did say they have a fix in the workings. And I hope they do because not being able to mitigate was kinda counterproductive. 😅 Dying sometimes helped. Another viable reason to use bargain now. Before you really couldn't. Thanks for checking! 😁

Reminds me of when Paladin Healers were able to put shields on people that equalled their whole healthbar.
Wow those are insane buffs, cant wait to play with it. I just think the att will should be changed too, its way to much shield for 80 cost if u compare with paladin powers. I dont know whats going on with the devs, they said they would change paladin but they decided to nerf cleric and give an insane buff to warlock. They complained about healing word and they are now creating another one. Wow
I do feel the clerics are being throwed under the bus now.
It feels overtuned on the shield at will part... but it cost 80 thats equivalent to using an encounter on one target.
Everywhere else feels decent as it now has same magnitudes as other healers, specially their Soul pact and Soul siphon finally made Useful.
Infernal barrier seems to work now. It wasn't affected by the stats and it seems way to low for a 400+ mag shild.

Positive changes, not sure about switching the cleanse to revitalize. Could get very messy in MGR
Yeah I won't be using revitalize unless i need to actually cleanse. Pretty much just switch revitalize for vampiric healing word, lol
Don't worry though, when groups start leaving clerics behind in protectors and taking warlocks instead and cleric players start whining about it, the warlock shield nerf will come in short order
Not a fan of the changes to remove neg condition from vampiric embrace and adding to revitalise.
Having that on VE is one of the things I LOVE about my warlock over my cleric. Trying to target the entire party for a cleanse as a cleric is a giant PITA, now it's going to be the same for the warlock.

Pally is great. Next mod it'll be cracked I guarantee it. After the pally rework.
Or, they could have not ruined the cleric...
Why do they feel the need to mess with things? Do their logs show an imbalance? If so why don't they aim for a target that would be balanced. They have the data, do the math, and they'll never have to muck with a class's powers again.
I love playing a Soulweaver because I can heal others without meaning to, it's a bonus I get for concentrating on combat, and not roaming around looking for someone's hand to hold and comfort. Now I have to take on the role similar to a Healadin and split my energy and strategies up between being a Healer and DPSer. They're just screwing with things to look busy.
I still miss tyrannical heal 😢, I'll admit, it's more than about time the class for some buffs and they do look decent. Haven't seen anyone run the feypact tho, I guess now it could be worth trying? I always ran that mount that gave the shields anyway, time will tell.
Great video as always!! I dont play this class just still on my pally struggle as a tank/healer hopefully they make some great changes i wish they could make hp worth something for a tank like by having more hp= more threat instead of power being a helper for threat it just makes no sense because as a tank spec , dps stats is not a focus obviously the devs know threat is strange in the game thats why they provide gear with increased threat or living hex but still imo its a loss of defence stats to take more threat but anyways lets see what they do.

Well, you can kiss the paladin healer goodbye. Why would anyone want the nerfed pally shields when they can get these from a warlock? Those AND the new upgraded heals they have.

You have a 60% shield, though. I've seen fighters stomp in single target fights, and even keep up with AoE if the adds die quick. The pretty much have 3 or 4 tunnel visions in ST lol
@@mayn90s19 u see that 60% shield is a debuff if u use it u gonna lose 10% ca 10% crit, also everyone talking about ST yeah sure he has high dmg encounters but high CD so whats the point also we talking about end game here iv run with rangers/cw they dont even wait for tank they just rush to mobs and dash to get immunity for like 4 time and put dmg, i cant do that ill be dead u see the balance there right even aragon agree if u see hes video ranking classes
@mohammedkhalil4268 if you're endgame then you understand that AoE doesn't even matter is what I'm saying. Sure you'll fall behind in AoE in mtos or DWP. But ST you can smack adds to pieces on 2nd boss, knock the bosses for a loop. In Mtos we can smack cocoons in 2 encounters with CA, or nuke barrels by ourselves. Not many classes can do that, even wiztards.
@@mayn90s19 yeah im sorry other dps classes still far more superior, as a endgame gf dps main i have to do to much run around so i can get dmg and make sure not to get os (again no imunnity like other classes) and u have other classes like cw or any range dps afk at the same spot pomping dmg no worries cuz he can dudge dmg with imunity

Combine the paladin's shield with the cleric's healing word, and even increase the magnitude by one and a half times in comparison with them... Do the developers understand exactly what they are doing or has this long been outsourced to some freelancers who are seeing this game for the first time?
It was bad enough when i had to worry about being in the same trial or train as another paladin but now 2/4 healers have anti synergy and they removed the uniqueness of paladins being the only healer to give shields.
With Soul weave cost being increased, what changes are being made to increase the rate at which Soul weave builds? Soul weave is basically mana for casting spells... increased cost means less viable in action as you cannot cast as often and will find yourself depleted of soul sparks and unable to use soulweave...
Vampiric Embrace will no longer remove conditions though... stronger heal is one thing.. yet conditions are another which will cause more heals to be needed because continued condition affects no longer being removed.
you can use revitalize to cleanse. It would be a bit overpowered to have everything on the same power.
As a paladin i hate this, im gonna rip these shields off like wrapping paper on Christmas morning. Its not good when two healers diminish eachothers healing instead of working together

What would really be nice is if they would make the DPS fighter stronger. I like my fighter but I get passed over for groups a lot . I even started a wizard and a rogue character because of that. And why can't the fighter dodge or something, sure would be nice to be able to move out of red circles faster....like roll or something. Put a good word in for some fighter changes. Changes for the better, not changes hardly noticeable.
you sure it is because you are a fighter, or how you built it? Fighters can do fairly well, and if you prove yourself to players, they'll take you on any class if you can carry your weight
@@Aragon- yeah I can hold my own. I've completed ADWP and other Advanced dungeons. I haven't been in any Master Dungeons yet. I'm working on my stats. I see other classes out damage me. My character is getting there I suppose. Still hard for me to get in some dungeons. I have MC and raptor, all my dragon gear. Mythic enchantments. I've almost got my insignias all to mythic. I'm not giving up on my fighter, it's my favorite.
Fighters, Barbarians, Paladins, all feel weak as DPSers vs Thaumaturge, Arbiter, Assassin, Songblade, Hellbringers. Basically all warrior classes are whimpy in NW. Nerfed probably because of their intrinsic toxicity.
Fighter DPS Blocking instead of Dodging is so they farm Vengeance _and_ AP just for existing, which lets you reach and keep peak angy at all times while letting the Dailies flow. Maxing Vengeance at all times makes a *huge* damage difference in my testing.
Lol so now even warlocks shield more than paladins... the only feature that made paladin somewhat competitive is gone nice.
But i find it Fanny they said they were working on paladin but it seems it Will be the Last class to get an update.

In the feature D.W.P Completed: LF Tank 3 CW s and Sw heal
I lock healed with a rogue, warlock, and barbarian. With a pally tank in 45 minutes. It's not heavy on heals in there really.
I completed on my rogue with warlock heals, gameplay is up here somewhere. Did not go too bad at all
So still no pally fixes again talk about kicking the can down the road

Man DC in a corner crying right now, we were already 3rd in the pecking order. Got nerfed (fixed) then warlock got overturned 😂. All these years n as I came back they do this shit 😩

I even use a augment companion still instead of a summoned "fight by your side" companion that a lot players use while stacking the mount insignia bonus Warlords Inspiration.

i dont really like these changes why they try to make hybrid classes best in both paragons for exampe warlocks should be best at 1 role and be decent at the 2nd so dc's are supposed to be healers as main role they should be the best healers imo and just ok as dps to do dailies. these changes are not good for palaheal too bcs we supposed to be shielders why they take this away from us and they make warloc too they just try to make everyone happy but this is not good for the game i hope i am wrong. (sr if my english are not so good i hope you got my point)
all healers are supposed to be good at what they do, same with dps and tanks. It should not matter what other roles they can do on their class.

@@Aragon- bcs each class must be unique and not just copy them bcs if all classes have the same gameplay whats the point on having same mechanics with each other they had to find something more creative than this. With these changes i hope they buff palaheals too bcs if not it wil be another mod that we will not be able to be competitive if we are not maxed

This ain't broken at all, why would anyone run 2 at-wills that does no damage.. just gona stand around doing nothing when all your team mates are at full health.. how would we even recover soulweave..

Yes it gives a shield but you have to cast it manually AIMING YOUR RECTICLE at EACH player, which is hard in fight because ppl keep moving around and mobs in front of ppl so you have to chase each party member just to give them a shield, terrible idea, who thought of this? Fire him. Not to mention it doesn't last long, only a few seconds. At least it should have no expiration time. So this way if you use this (useless) it becomes a boring chore quickly to chase party members to give them a shield, manually, 1 by 1 and then a few seconds later reapply when it expires. B.s. Keep doing this over and over again. Your full time job lol. Just boring, clunky. A game is supposed to be fun. Why is not automatic? Any brains? Hello? McFly? Like the pally. Press 1 button and automatically cast shield to the whole party THAT DO NOT EXPIRE. That would be useful. Not this b.s.
feel free to use Hellpact at the cost of much lower heals, and then you can give shields to everyone with one press on Vampiric Embrace
