- "Capitalizing the name "Capital STEEZ" is now as good as remembering any credible historic leader leading a militant army of troops. "Like Water" is the visual stepping stone to what STEEZ lead for the listeners of revolutionary music."

BRO SAME!
You’re not alone gang 🥸😂
I remember being young and I found these guys. 2010 thinking about a girl I don’t even know anymore and all the kids was fucking around on tumblr and shit and I was the CZcams kid watching PewDiePie, Seannanners, Markiplier. Then I found music and I found this group. 2010-2012 what a run. A beautiful moment to live in the same time pro era was coming up. I will never forget it and how much memories it made smoking to this song and others on that walk home after school

I don't care if you're just now catching on to pro era. I'm just happy people are listening. This is more than music to me. You may not believe it but spirituality is a very important part of our existence. The powers that be want us to be blind and dumb, and the beast coast movement opened my eyes to a whole new world. I love you all and please be open minded. Good luck on your journey.

He was a huge idealist and was so open minded. Seems like a pretty soft headed dude so it only makes sense that he has such huge influences on the fans he does have. Great music though, heavily slept on.

It’s sad that there’s a whole generation who doesn’t prefer this shit. THIS is lyricism, THIS is poetry. THIS is a message. THIS is hip hop. Leagues ahead of their time, and so incredibly underrated and unappreciated.
Im 15 and I prefer this type of music compared to mainstream mumble rappers
@@cutzz1928 lmao mumble rap doesn’t exist kid, it’s a made up tag like coke rap or swag rap. If ur looking for more lyrical modern hip hop listen to R.A.P. Ferreira or Open Mike Eagle or Noname etc there’s tons of great modern Hip Hop

I remember finding out about Steez I think a year after he died? I got so hooked into his music that I didn’t even know he was dead until maybe a couple weeks or a month after listening to his songs. I guess what made it strange is that nobody really talked about his death if that makes any sense, not like in today’s times when X died, or Pop Smoke, his death had a impact trust me on the diehard pro era fans, but it wasn’t something nationwide, more people actually talk about his death today than the first couple months of his death. Steez is a legend though he just got too deep into his thoughts, and that’s a scary place to be at. His legacy and music will live on until the Earth goes quiet, rip STEEZ.
REST IN PEACE CAP STEEZ! 🙏🏽💯
nah man he didn’t get too caught up in the negative thoughts, they took him out. he knew too much and the industry didn’t like that, him informing the public. they wanna keep us dumb, uninformed on what’s going on in the world and steez was tryna tell us man !!!!! he didn’t jump y’all!! they sold they soul and steez wasn’t about it!!!!! it’s sad man, but he lives on and we have his music to help us grow and evolve❤️

Pro Era was so ahead of its time. STEEZ was lyrically unmatchable and raised awareness of issues going on. Joey was learning off him and has now become a successful but still underrated legend. Not many know about STEEZ but the ones that do realise his greatness. Then you had members like CJ Fly and Ala Sole delivering amazing guest verses and producers like Statik Selektah creating great beats. The early 2010s was amazing

I don’t know what it is man. It’s my high school life it’s where I’m from this is why I I’ve always related to you. And even though it’s been a long time since you passed. I’m seriously sad. Because you are missed, because my past life is over. Because what I could relate to you has passed.
Man…Pro Era at the time along with OFWG, Zombies, Klan, Vince, Kendrick, Action, etc
It felt like we were witnessing the rebirth of hip hop and what they gave us was everything we could have wanted.
I don’t think where hip hop is where we were hoping it would go. It’s scattered and in shambles and the lone voices keeping it alive are buried in the mess that makes money.

Would of change rap today. Why did he take the jump :(
What if he didnt
He didn't. Wasn't his choice anyway. Someone talks negative about the government and white supremacists and "commits suicide"? Its a common thing for them to just kill people.
***** He did change rap today ;) Enjoy what we got fam and keep ya head up! No doubt STEEZ was a breath of fresh air! I hear ya.
Azawa Medkour Yeah man, by all reports Steez did have some possible mental health issues and other things going on that may not have been able to be properly addressed and I don't think it's good to sweep it under the rug of a government hit, especially at the time of his death Steez wasn't popular or influential in mainstream society to warrent the feds coming to kill him. If this was Jay-Z--who has vast amounts of media power and influence, maybe you'd have a point.
I didn't hear much about his supposed mental illness. Maybe I am wrong. maybe he actually did it. I just think its especially suspicious how he died shortly after a meeting with Jay-Z.
Even if he wasn't killed, It is still an injustice for us to loose a rapper so talented and lyrically complex. Well, back to MF DOOM for me...
WE STILL HERE STEEZ!
