Coach Shashika is a very sweet person and very knowledgeable in various other kinds of music... not just sri lankan stuff. since it is a Kathak song people might think that this song is based in Hindustani Raagdhari Sangeet but actually this song is a Mish-mash of two to three ragas. Main structure is based on Raag - Dwijavanthi, then few touches of Pilu and Mishra Pilu may be. Coach Shashika correctly identified that it is based on Carnatic music... though composed to support North Indian Kathak dance sequence. So talented and proud of Coach Shashika. I wish this boy went to her. In knockout round he might face Roy Jackson.
