The Jan character (played by Melora Hardin) is one of the most difficult parts to play. She can pause, and the look on Jan’s face says volumes about what she is thinking. And she plays it spot on!!

This was such a great build up- first the abstract art, then the sky diving picture thay gives you a glimpse of the face, then the candles, then the Warhol style art piece. An epic reveal worthy of any super villain

Things I love:
1. Jan using her augmented boobs to clean a photo frame.
2. Pam’s reaction to Jan’s “One… slideshow.”
3. Pam letting Clark know he doesn’t have to be involved in anything sexual if he doesn’t want to. We stan a queen who sees men as equally vulnerable to sexual misconduct.

Shes an actor
Jenna Fischer's acting is perfect when she sees the candles. The slight inkling of an unknown but familiar danger, like a zombie movie when a character finds fresh scratch marks or blood trails on a wall in an abandoned building.

The fact that the premise of this show is a documentary about the operation of a paper company is wild. Like this part is supposed to air and people would see that the white pages made a deal with a paper company based on sexual slave labor 😱😱

If you recall, at the end of the office it was revealed that they didnt know the extent of the documentary. A lot of the staff in one of the seasons protested the release of the documentary (in the office universe) due to personally sensitive content

I'm not going to lie; this was literally the most creative episode they were able to make this season. The fact they held off on an episode of Dwight selling to women just so that they could bring back Jan in season 9 was executed perfectly. I died laughing when Pam told Dwight to forget everything he was taught.

Sorry Peacock, you have no idea how many times I've watched this series in its entirety. Clips are all I need at this point...
It's a shame Jan had to turn truly evil in the end. She was selfish, irrational, rigid yet also impulsive before, but she had something of a moral compass and an idea of right from wrong. Still a brilliant character. I love Melora Hardin.
Who did she murder?
Michael ruined Jan. In season 1 she was just a corporate business woman, but after Michael got to her, she completely lost it all. By season 3 she was insane. Don't get me wrong, she was absolutely toxic for Michael too. But I don't think she would have become AS toxic for Michael if she wasn't infected by Michael's own toxicity in the first place.
They were horrible for one another.
They should’ve brought Jan back as the new manager of Dunder Mifflin in season 8 or 9. Melora Hardin is an amazing actress and so funny. She could go toe to toe with Steve Carell when it came to improv
Yeah Andy is a natural but it wouldve been nice to see her back. Too much Andy can sometimes get more annoying than funny.
Plus it would be hilarious to see everyone freak out.
