    Playing quarterback in the NFL is one of the most important jobs in all of sports.
    So when we see a guy rise to the top of the profession and achieve superstar status, it almost catches the public off guard-particularly because we have seen so many QBs, even some who were stars in college, struggle in the pros…
    But what’s even more surprising is when we see a superstar quarterback fall off the proverbial cliff-and become forgettable almost overnight.
    Let’s take a look back at 10 NFL signal callers who went from superstar to forgettable!

    Peyton had 1 bad season at 39. There’s a ton of guys that should’ve been on the list over him.

      His face looks so much like a horse's face it's very comical. You take every chance you can take to put him on any list that you can son. There's a lot of people out there that are willing to pay good money to see a video of Peyton making horse noises in a horse costume for ten minutes straight. If Peyton was willing to get jiggy with it big willy style on video film featuring a live horse I think the world would be a better place and he could make himself enough money to fix his face and bee whole if he so desired.

      Nah, that’s season was one of the worst by a qb at any age, but I agree that they didn’t mention a plantar fasciitis injury at 39 and came back to manage the game enough to win a Super Bowl. The body made a major drop off in that season; his mind did not

  • @matthewalexanderlemma8000

    Drew Bledsoe was terrific in the 1990’s, but he was clearly passed his prime once that decade came to an end. They say Bill Belichick was liking Tom Brady much more than him going into the 2001 season. The Patriots owner loved Bledsoe so much that he gave him a huge contract that off-season, making demoting him as starting QB rather difficult. I also think a few of those Buffalo Bills teams (2003, 2004) would have been much better with a quarterback in his prime and let us not forget about the benching in Dallas for Tony Romo in 2006, Drew Bledsoe’s final season in the NFL.

    If Warner hadn't hooked up with NFL network, and gotten into the NFL "clique," he never gets into the Hall of Fame. I think that's the story for quite a few, actually. Get into broadcasting and become better after you played than you ever where while you did. Like David Carr.

  • @johnblossom8447
    @johnblossom8447 Před 2 lety

    I’m not sure Peyton Manning could ever be considered forgettable. Physically, he struggled his last year, but his football IQ was still amazing. Plus, Manning wasn’t simply benched. He had plantar fasciitis. If you’ve ever had that, you know it’s horribly painful. You can’t compare most quarterbacks at the end of their careers. If you’re going by how their play falls off at the end of their careers, you could put most quarterbacks on your list.

  • @BrandonCultraroGamerVideo33194

    How is Peyton Manning on this list for one bad season? Dude was hella dominant for his time. Constantly in the playoffs, usually had double digit wins each season, near the top when it came to passing yards and tds each season, most passing yards in a single season, most passing tds in a single season.... yeah he is forgettable, not.

    TPS should do the stinkiest offensive lines of the NFL segment. Sigh, Mike Vick I always think of what could've been. He was a football prodigy having spectacular talent. That man was the whole package in football shattering rushing & passing records. Vick did everything well, including tackling but, he still never won the big one. He was the greatest QB to never win a SB.
