- A very soft cover version with guitar, strings and harmonies. Vince Clarke actually wrote this for Depeche Mode(who he co-started). Maybe he left them after the first album Speak & Spell because they didn't want it. Fortunately he started Yazoo and released it with Alison Moyet on vocals. He later also started The Assembly and Erasure.

I was watching some of Alison's videos. I almost did not click on this video because I was skeptical that anyone else could do this song justice. I was wrong. This is an awesome version of Only You. If your song was available 8 years ago when I married my wife, I would have chosen this song for the wedding too.

Alison Moyet was Yazoo... It was her and Vince Clarke's band before they broke up and Vince started Erasure. And Alsion was/is beautiful; love her so much!
